“Let’s go up in flames,” I tell him and damned if I don’t see them ignite in his eyes. Hayden slams into me, taking my hair in his fist and pulling. Each time he thrusts in, he hits my prostate just right.
He spits in his hand then wraps it around me, takes my dick and starts stroking as he leans over me, kissing the back of my neck. It’s like sensory overload, his skilled hand on my dick and his cock in my ass and his lips and teeth against my skin.
“Yes…oh, God yes,” I say as my eyes roll back into my head. My balls ache and it becomes obvious real quick I’m not going to be able to hold off long.
“Gimme your load,” Hayden says, an urgency in his voice that tells me he’s struggling to hold off too.
So I give in, let loose as I shoot all over his hand. Hayden keeps fucking, keeps stroking until his teeth bite down hard into my neck, and his body goes rigid as he dives headfirst into an orgasm of his own.
We collapse to the bed, and damned if he doesn’t lick his fingers clean. My cock jerks again, and I think I could be ready to go another time if he wanted to.
Hayden pulls his condom off, tosses it in the trash. I’m on my back, and he’s on his stomach, propped up on his elbows looking down at me with a big-ass sated, happy smile. My pulse quickens, and I open my mouth because I don’t believe in holding shit back. Carpe diem and all that.
“We might have a problem, Hayden,” I tell him.
He frowns, a worry line forming over his brow. “What is it?”
“I know you just got out of a long-term relationship but somehow, I’ve become exactly what I warned you against.”
“What do you mean?” he asks.
“As Doc would say, I think I’m a little sweet on you.”
When he doesn’t reply right away, I add, “In case you didn’t know, that means I have some kind of crush on you.”
And then I wait for him to reply.

Hayden
I’m a little shocked by Cody’s confession. As he said, he was the one who warned me that I shouldn’t hop into a relationship with the first guy I started messing around with, and he was the first guy I did anything with after Lance.
I like him a hell of a lot, and today just showed me that even more. As we keep spending time together, I keep seeing what an amazing guy he is. Like at the food drive when he was so eager to help out and how caring and kind he was to all those people—people he didn’t know and will probably never see again. People who needed a friendly face and a couple of laughs.
“Are you serious?” I ask. I know that’s not the right thing to say, but he’s really blindsided me with it.
“Don’t take that the wrong way. I don’t mean like I’m in love with you or anything psycho like that. I’m starting to feel more for you than a friend or a hookup. Not that we have to date or do anything about it. I’m not ashamed of how I feel, and I’m not going to beat around the bush.”
Cody is completely different from anyone I’ve ever met. Most guys don’t talk about how they really feel. Lance was the worst. Took him forever to even say he liked me…even longer to admit he wanted to be in a relationship with me.
“I like you a lot, too, Cody,” I say.
His lips curl upward, making me like him even more. “But don’t get me wrong. I understand you just got out of a long-term relationship, and I want you to explore and experiment and have fun. In fact, as your friend and someone who’s crushing on you, I insist that you do. I don’t want you to take any of this to mean I want you to act like you feel anything for me that you don’t. I just think, we do have fun together, and the sex is hot as hell, so I wouldn’t mind seeing where it leads. If it doesn’t go anywhere, then at least you get some good BJs out of it, you know?”
“Looks like I get more than BJs,” I say. “But you’re serious about wanting me to go on dates with other guys?”
“I’m cool with you doing more than just going on dates with them,” Cody replies with a cheeky grin.
I laugh, appreciating that his sense of humor has eased up some of the tension I felt when he first said he was sweet on me.
Not that I don’t like him. Not that I’m not interested in something more.
It just totally threw me.
“You’re seriously nothing like Lance,” I say. “God, if I had even thought of another guy while we were first getting together, he would have been done with me.”
