But I would try and give every inch of my life to defeat him. I knew this deep within in my sinful heart. If anybody was worth dying for, it was Fatou.
Lucifer gazed at me. “For the loss of Ferkos, I expect a good deed to make up for this. Perhaps, you can have children with this being and they can serve in my army.”
Terror pulsed within me.
While I would be forced to fight for him, I would not allow that fate to any of my children, especially the ones I shared with Fatou.
“I will need something.” Lucifer glared at me. “You made Lilith cry. She is so heartbroken she does not want to see you because she is scared that she might break you so much that she can't repair your body.”
I was thankful for that. Out of the two of them, Lilith scared me the most.
“I do not know what you will do, but you have a little time to come up with a way to please me.”
Little time for Lucifer represented a few years.
Lucifer inhaled the air again. “Perhaps, after this one has had many children, you can let me desecrate her.”
“No.” The words were out of my mouth before I even knew what I was saying.
In a flash, Lucifer's face shifted to cold shock, then confusion, then a mixture of joy and anger.
Did I really say that to him?
Lucifer's wicked smile returned. Then, that rambunctious evil laugh left him. “This is why Lilith loves you so, you are just as entertaining as the Humans.”
The air chilled.
My teeth clattered.
“Still, little Titus, if you do not give me my good deed, I will have Fatou.” He spread his wings out wider. “You surely gave me some ideas of things that I can do with her.”
I fisted my hands to the side.
Those huge black wings spread open and began to slowly flap back and forth, filling the air with noise.
Inch by inch, he rose from the ground and inhaled the air again. “Lilith will be intrigued by this news.”
My nerves flared.
Lucifer rose higher and then disappeared.
Chapter 17
A New Plan
Fatou
I woke up naked and sprawled on top of Azar.
Sweet memories flooded my head, filled with the smell of sex and the sounds of his grunts and the sight of his hair-covered chest. My muscles ached from yesterday's sexual workout. Every inch of my skin tingled from the memories.
I yawned, slowly getting a clearer vision of my surroundings.
How long have I been out of it?
My body had molded to his, and his chest had been a perfect pillow.
The sun warmed my skin, and the breeze offered a gentle caress. Leaves and branches surrounded me, scratching, tickling and digging into my arms and thighs.
Where are we?
I blinked my eyes.
A bird flew by my head and chirped.
That was close.
Another bird on the branch near my foot answered the other’s call.
Hold on. Are we in a tree?
I slowly looked down.
A high-pitched scream left me.
We were on top of a high tree. It must have been over thirty feet in the air. Thousands and thousands of other trees surrounded us.
Azar jolted awake and tightened his grip on my waist. His muscles flexed under me as a breeze blew through his hair. “What’s wrong?”
A shiver ran through me.
He gazed up and then down, confusion glazed over his eyes. “Why did you scream?”
“We’re in a tree.” I quickly wrapped my sore legs around his waist and held on to his shoulders. I held on, afraid that I would drop to the ground if I let go. “I can’t fly like you. How long have we been sleeping here?”
He flashed a smile, displaying perfect white teeth, and leaned back on a huge branch.
A tiny squeak came from it. I tensed my shoulders in fear, wondering if the branch could hold us anymore. Squeaking had to be a bad sign.
Are the branches sturdy enough to climb down?
“You are a fairy.” He smirked. “One would think you would love to sleep in a tree.”
“You've been on this planet long enough to know that isn't true.” I stared longingly at the safe ground below us and clung to his broad shoulders. “Where are we?”
“Amazon Rainforest.” He moved his hands to my breasts and pinched my nipples. “Have you rested enough?”
I yanked his hands away. “Absolutely no more sex.”
“Why no sex?”
“Well. . .besides the fact that we fucked enough for most people's lifetimes—”
“Not even close.”
“The other reason would be that I’m scared of heights.”
He sat up. Each taut row of golden muscle contracted. “You weren’t scared yesterday.”
I opened my mouth searching for a response.
“That's not fair,” he said. “You were pumped up with leslin. What do you remember?”
“Everything.”
“Even the Ferkos and the Boto Brothers?”
Instantly, their thick, long cocks filled my mind. I closed my eyes, pushing the vision away.
Azar's soothing voice filled the air. “When did Ferkos take you?”
