“Well,” Daniel said, “you and I are sharing a room at the end of the hall. And these two clowns are going to share a room right over here.” He explained as he started walking backwards pointing to the different doors.
“Are you serious right now? I can’t share a room with you guys.”
“And why not?” Daniel arched his brow.
“Because I’m a grown woman and I’m not sharing a room with another man, much less my new brother.” I crossed my arms.
“What’s wrong with me?”
Daniel started to smile as he pointed both thumbs at his chest.
“For starters, I’m not so sure I trust any of you,” I said to them as my eyes went from face to face.
“Whyever not?” Damien asked, his brow arching high.
I let out a breath. “I’m going to see if I can’t get another room.” I turned to the elevator, but Daniel called me back.
“Look, sis, this place is overbooked right now. Why else do you think we’re sharing rooms?”
“Yeah, besides…” Dax stepped up. “You really can trust us. We want everything to be perfect.” I didn’t know any of them as well as I should have to share a room. One thing was obvious though, they were all flirting with me for sure. Dax especially right then. His adorable guy-next-door charm had me focusing only on him and not the others for once. It was pretty cool until I realized just how into him I was getting. I couldn’t stop looking at his biceps. For a guy who seemed pretty laidback and chill, he sure was ripped. His stomach was too, as I could see those tight abs through his tucked-in shirt.
“Listen,” Damien came and wrapped my arm around his, “we just want this family thing to work out.” He winked at me as he pulled me close to his body. “Right, guys?”
Daniel put his hands on his hips with a smile. “Absolutely. Come on,” he said. He took the key card from Damien and opened our room, and Damien opened his and Dax’s room. Daniel waved me through. “After you, my dear.”
I sighed. I didn’t want to share a room with any of them, because being around them made me want to be with them. I couldn’t do that. Each one was so hot in their own way, and I had reasons to like them all. Their flirting made me feel sexy, no lie, but I was also ashamed of myself. Honestly, though, what else could I do? Finding another room in this hotel was impossible and looking for another hotel would be a complete waste of a good vacation. “Alright,” I said, flopping my hands to my sides. “Here we are.”
“Don’t be so disappointed, Parvati,” Daniel said as he closed the door. “We’re family now. Brothers and sisters share rooms all the time.” He had a knowing smile then, and it gave me the chills. I wanted more of him, and he just made it incredibly easier for that to happen. Now I was sure Damien had told them about the night at the club. They probably thought I was easy or something. “I have some stuff in mind, if you get bored.”
I walked up to Daniel and put my finger on his chiseled chest.
“I’m not going to play along.”
Daniel laughed. “Oh, I can see that you will.”
“What?”
“You like the attention, don’t you?” His words stilled me. He leaned into my finger and whispered in my ear. “You want all the attention, and I’m about to give it to you.”

PARVATI
I had to be real about the situation. I was stuck sharing a room with a hot guy in Hawaii. Why was I complaining, again? Even if something happened, it wasn’t the end of the world. It was just a vacation, and on vacations people do wild things. So, I decided to enjoy the time away no matter what. Even if they persisted, I was there to relax from my endless hours as a chef and to have me time.
“Hey, girl!” Jourdanne said as we connected via facetime.
I rolled onto my stomach and kicked my feet into the air.
“Oh my gosh, you just aren’t going to believe this place.”
“No, I don’t think I will!” She laughed for a second. “I’ve never been to Hawaii, but Leandro has mentioned a possible trip in the future.”
“Oh, then you must go. This hotel is ridiculous.”
“Tell me all about it!” Jourdanne said.
“Okay, so there is an amazing breakfast bar that has every type of food you can imagine. Not just pancakes and waffles, but any type of omelettes, fruit and yogurt, and a juice bar that is to die for. Also, there is like four different types of coffee, and the smell coming down in the morning is amazing.”
“Wow.”
I got up from the bed and went to the window to show Jourdanne the view. “I had blueberry pancakes this morning with bacon and Colombian coffee.” I got the entire beach in the video, and she was oohing and ahhing. “I get to look out this window too.”
