“Sure, this is a normal,” I tell the brothers with a light laugh. “About as normal as a lunatic asylum.”
The brothers grin, and then burst into laughter.
“Fair enough,” Tom finally manages to say.
Suddenly, a man appears, who I can only assume is household staff, given his upright bearing and pressed black and white clothes. He places a frozen daiquiri in front of me, before nodding and departing.
“Thank you, Palmer,” Gabriel calls after him. The man nods again, and disappears silently. Meanwhile, I take a sip of the fruity drink, savoring its icy coolness.
“This is delicious,” I practically moan.
Tom and Gabriel watch me appreciatively, each one sipping on a vodka soda in lieu of the fruity beverage.
“We actually grow the strawberries on the property. It’s just a small patch, enough for the household. But more impressive is our distillery. It was Tom’s idea, a few years back.”
“Wow, you make your own alcohol?” I’m impressed. What don’t these men do?
“We dabble in it,” Tom offers easily, swirling the ice in his glass.
For a few moments, the three of us grow silent, each one of us lost in thought. Finally feeling a little less nervous now that I have a drink in me, I speak up.
“Look, um, the car ride was lovely – thank you for the flowers, by the way – and your house is incredible. But I guess I still have no idea why exactly I’m here.”
Tom grins, a dangerous smile that almost makes me wish I’d held my tongue. But to my relief, his tone is light-hearted, and almost playful. “Well, we bought you last night, remember?”
And with that, I feel my confusion rise, along with an intense streak of lust for the cocky man. “So you claim. But what exactly do you want with me? Even if you bought me, what am I supposed to do?”
They nod, their blue eyes flaring, yet giving nothing away.
“That’s a fair question. Gabriel?” Tom looks to his brother.
Gabriel nods, his handsome features thoughtful.
“Well, Michelle, since you’re curious, we want a few things from you.” I sit up a little straighter, eager to finally have some answers. “We want access to your curvy body,” Gabriel’s eyes sweep across my form, “but we also want to take care of you, and have you enjoy your time with us.”
“Access to my body?” I manage to sputter out, completely taken aback.
“Yes,” Gabriel answers simply.
I frown. “But what does that mean? Does that mean… sleeping with you?”
“Yes,” they answer simultaneously, and without any apology.
“Both of you?” I gasp.
“Yes,” Tom states, as if this is totally normal. But of course, my mind is blown at the prospect.
“At the same time?” I feel my eyes go wide. “I mean, how would it work? Just hypothetically of course,” I say quickly. The deep longing in my womanhood grows more intense, but I’m also genuinely confused by what they want.
Tom chuckles a little, and his blue eyes gleam. I’m learning that he’s the more direct of the two brothers.
He leans toward me a little, his voice low. “Yes, to all of these questions. Michelle, let me be candid. We bought you with the specific intention of having access to your body. To kiss, lick, taste, and play with you as we please. We want to enjoy every one of your curves at any time, and as we see fit.” Tom sits back. “But we want you to feel good too.”
I’m totally unable to reply and merely stare at them in shocked silence. “What?” I finally manage in a feeble voice.
At that, it’s Gabriel’s turn to chuckle. He shakes his head slowly.
“I thought we made it pretty obvious last night how attractive we find you.”
I can’t help but moan a bit now. “Yes, but I mean … I mean …”
I look back and forth between the two handsome men, grappling with complicated emotions. Is this for real?
On the one hand, I’m appalled that they’ve assumed I’ll hop into bed with them. But on the other hand, I also know that I want to, as shameful as that is. There is something so tantalizing about these powerful men. How they command respect. How they’re so damn gorgeous, and how even their arrogance is attractive. I don’t know whether I should punch them, or throw myself into their arms to get a taste of the promise in those blue eyes.
Finally, I find the words to speak.
“Um well, I guess I want to make one detail very clear up front.”
“Please, by all means.” Both Tom and Gabriel lean back in their chairs, looking amused yet listening intently.
I take a deep breath, already embarrassed by what I’m about to tell them. They have to know, so all cards are on the table.
“I… I’m twenty-five,” I start. I take another deep breath, feeling my heart pounding in my chest. I take a long sip of the daiquiri, savoring its liquid courage. I start again. “I know I’m twenty-five, and I can’t believe I have to say this but, I’ve never been with a man before.” The men stare at me blankly, not comprehending. “I’m a virgin!” I finally manage in a hushed voice, utterly mortified. “I don’t want to be, but it is what it is. I understand if you want to call this whole thing off.”
