“I like playing, Daddy, but I like being with you.” I’d like being with him better once he told me the rules.
Daddy cocked his head and then sat down on the side of the tub. “I’m missing something. I don’t think I understand the question.”
Hmm.
He might have yawns too.
Looking up stuff online all day was hard…Daddy even online shopped too.
“Are you talking about imaginary games like pretending we have a boat or…” Daddy blinked and got a funny look on his face before it vanished like magic. “Or are you talking about grown-up games like me saying hello and sinking your boat.”
He was so funny.
Daddy pretended to get frowny when I giggled. “It was trying to float earlier so I’d have to try to sink it.”
“Are you going to explode my boat, Daddy?” I was funny that time because Daddy winced and his hands moved to his boat.
“Um, no, let’s give that another name.” Daddy’s frown made me giggle.
“Boom.” I waved my hands to show him how big the explosion would get.
Daddy groaned. “That’s…good grief.”
He was so funny.
“I will play any games with you as long as we don’t say explosions or boom.” Daddy shook his head and sighed. “We’re just going to say hi very nicely. No explosions.”
I wanted to play, so I kept the boom just in my head.
Boom.
“You thought it.” Daddy sucked in a breath and looked like I’d said a naughty word. “You said boom in your head. You exploded.”
Oh.
“We’re going to say hi nicely, Daddy. I remember.” Could Daddy read my mind?
Boom.
“Good grief.” Daddy crossed his arms over his chest. “You’re making me worried about your penis.”
“Bubbles will make you feel better.” And then we could play. “Do you need help, Daddy?”
Yes, questions were better because then I didn’t have to lie.
Boom.
“Alright, it’s clear you need a distraction.” He even glared at me and huffed.
I had to tell Dally that Daddy could read my mind.
He was never going to believe it.
“I like distractions, Daddy.” I could tell Dally later, though. “I like bubbles too. Did I tell you that, Daddy?”
He laughed. “I can’t tell if you’re being cute to get away with being naughty or if you’re just tired.”
Hmm.
“I really like bubbles. Let me help you.” Yes, helping was better than trying to figure out how to answer Daddy. I was pretty sure I’d get in trouble trying to let him ask questions.
And if I sank his boat first, then he had to be happy.
I was smart too.
Yep. Very smart.
Daddy’s boat was happy and ready to be sanked by the time I got his clothes off. “Don’t think you’re being subtle about this.”
Cheek kisses.
Big smile.
Dally said those always made Daddies happy and he said it worked on lots of other Doms too.
“Are you ready, Daddy?” Yes, I could help him and that would distract him too. “Be careful so you don’t fall.”
He rolled his eyes when I took his hands but he let me distract him. “Thank you.”
Best Daddy ever.
“You’re welcome.” Sweet smiles so I didn’t look guilty. “And thank you for using good manners.”
Yep, that made everything better too.
Sighing, Daddy was careful and helped me into the tub. “Good job. On not falling and on trying to distract me.”
I didn’t giggle, but it was hard.
“We’re both very good.” So we should get to have fun playing sink the boat. “And we can cuddle too. Just like you wanted, Daddy.”
He liked cuddling.
Chuckling, Daddy helped us both sink down into the water and the bubbles just kept getting bigger and bigger. “You’re almost buried.”
Giggling, I nodded as I climbed between his legs and curled up so he could have his cuddles. I sank down into the water and the bubbles came up to my neck. “I’m alive, Daddy. Don’t worry.”
He couldn’t decide if he wanted to groan or laugh. “If I have nightmares about you exploding while being buried alive, I’m going to blame it on you.”
Hmm…time for another distraction…a kissy kind.
Chapter 12
Elias
He was being adorably manipulative, but I wished it hadn’t taken me so long to figure out he was worried that we couldn’t sink our boats together in the tub.
Admittedly, it wasn’t something I realized could be a stressor for him, but I was starting to catch on…and I was also starting to realize that his solution for distracting his Daddy was to look cute and give me kisses.
It wasn’t subtle but it was funny.
Especially since all it had taken was a couple of kisses and a nuzzle against my chest to distract himself. “You smell better than the bubbles, Daddy. I forgot that.”
Managing not to chuckle, I kissed his head and wrapped one leg around his to keep him from bobbing away from me. The combination of a deep tub and relaxed little made it feel like he was ready to slide off me at any second.
