“I don’t think there’s anyone who I’d rather have in that position than you. What do you say?”
Considering how much they’d meant and still did, to each other, she couldn’t refuse. “I’d be honored.”

“Megan honestly, I’m not really discussing him right now.”
“I understand. Well, I have to run. We have a few appointments with bakeries to see who’ll do our cakes.”

After she clicked off, Riley, sat down on the bed, feeling emotionally drained after that conversation. She was glad she and Megan were getting back to the way things used to be. But she couldn’t say the same about her and Ethan. She was scared to face him again, because Riley wasn’t confident there wouldn’t be a repeat performance of last night.

Ethan didn’t want to leave Riley but he had had no choice. He would rather be making love to her than going through the mess of paperwork currently on his desk. Since becoming a full-fledged partner, he rarely worked weekends, but with one of the partners having recently retired, he was swamped with extra work. He could have easily handed it off to one of the lower-level associates, but most of his firm’s clients had been with them for years and expected to work with someone of rank in the company.
It was difficult to concentrate when all he could think of was how good it had felt to hold Riley again, taste and touch her beautiful body. His dick had been hard the entire night and even thinking how tight her pussy had felt around him made him hard all over again.

He couldn’t keep the smile off his face. The more she fought him, the harder she’d fall. Ethan had waited for this chance with Riley for the past seven years but he’d had to bide his time, waiting for her to live up to her full potential and gain the world experience their marriage hadn’t allowed. While he didn’t regret what they’d shared, he wished he’d had the strength to wait until she was ready for what marriage entailed no matter how much she’d persisted.
His first memories of Riley were from conversations with Megan. It was always, ‘Riley said this’ and ‘Riley did that’. He’d gotten the impression from his parents that the two were inseparable. When he finally met her, he’d been expecting to meet a cute kid, like his sister, but her beautiful face and round curves screamed woman. Thankfully he’d been able to keep his reaction in check around her because she was only seventeen, in essence a child.
Ethan told himself that it was just the attraction he felt for any beautiful woman but no matter how many women he dated or how deeply he threw himself into his work, his thoughts would always trail back to her. He couldn’t think straight, sleep at night or focus on his job. It became a testament to his will that he managed to stay away from her. But things changed a couple years later. When Megan had gone away to school, Ethan thought his problems were solved because he believed his chances of running into Riley would decrease. What he didn’t count on was her still visiting his parents. The first time he’d happened to visit and Riley had been there for dinner he’d been surprised.
She tempted him more than she could have realized in a pair of form fitting shorts and a t-shirt that clung so lovingly to her breasts his mouth watered.
