“Probably.”
“Hmmm.” Her expression turns pensive. As pensive as one can look three sheets to the wind. “Should we take another shot?”
“Definitely.”

BRITT
A tortured groan escapes from me as I surface from a deep sleep. My head throbs a painful beat until it’s questionable if there’s a drumline inside my brain. I crack open one eye, thankful it’s dark inside the suite.
We’ll just consider that a small blessing.
Holy crap…
What the hell happened last night?
I search my mind, disturbed that I don’t remember returning to my room after the wedding.
What I do recall is downing a bunch of shots.
Damn. I knew that was a mistake.
I never overindulge in alcohol. One glass of wine or whatever the hip new drink in LA is.
That’s it.
But we’d all been having such a good time and had ended up celebrating late into the night.
Or maybe it would be more accurate to say the wee hours of the morning.
One shift against the high thread count sheets and I realize that I’m not wearing a stitch of clothing. Before I can investigate that further, a slight snore cuts through the silence of the bedroom.
With a turn of my head, I find Colby sacked out next to me.
The pounding in my skull isn’t enough to dampen the arousal that pools in my core.
A few fuzzy memories flicker in my brain of stumbling through the hotel door last night.
There’d been laughter.
And long, deep kisses that left my head spinning.
Along with Colby’s hands all over my body.
Working me over.
Not to mention his mouth.
Damn but he knows exactly what to do with it.
My gaze roves over his naked chest.
He really does have a nice one.
It’s a shame I don’t remember more of the details so I can lock them away for later and take them out when I’m lonely. I’m sure that whatever happened was just as hot as the first night.
What are the chances that I’ll be able to talk him into another sweaty bout of sex before heading down to meet everyone for breakfast?
My guess is high.
Although it’s doubtful we’ll see Fallyn and Wolf. If I were them, I’d be enjoying my newly minted married status.
In bed.
Afterward, we’ll have to pack up and catch a ride to the airport for our flight that leaves later this afternoon.
I raise my arms above my head to stretch.
The first thing I need are painkillers and a cup of—
Every muscle locks up and my movements freeze as I stare at the giant rock on my finger.
I blink and squint.
There’s no damn way I’m seeing this.
Except, there’s not just a giant diamond adorning my ring finger, but an actual silver band wrapped around it.
My heart skips an uncomfortable beat before pumping into overdrive as I drag my hand closer to my face. More snippets from last night roll through my brain, but there’s a hazy quality to them.
Dreamlike.
Except…
Oh fuck.
Colby’s left arm is thrown haphazardly over his eyes. Even though it’s painful, I scoot up and attempt to catch a glimpse of his hand. The silky sheet pools around my waist as I lean across his hard body. That’s when I see it—a matching silver band around his ring finger.
Everything inside me plummets as another groan breaks free.
How could I have allowed something like this to happen?
Exactly how drunk was I?
Stupid question.
“Mmmm, now that’s an awfully nice sight to wake up to.”
The low timbre of his voice vibrates through every cell in my body before settling deep in my core as he palms my breasts. He rolls onto his side and sucks one nipple between his lips. A hiss of air escapes from me and every panicked thought swirling through my brain leaks out of my ears as pleasure flares to life.
No doubt about it—the man has magic lips and hands.
Not to mention a pretty amazing cock.
No, don’t think about that.
It’s how you got into this mess in the first place.
It takes a herculean effort to rip myself away from him.
As soon as I put a little distance between us, his brows pinch together. “What’d you do that for?”
It’s rarely that I’ve seen Colby frown. But that’s exactly what he’s doing now. It’s tempting to lean down and kiss away—
Argh.
I was right about this guy being dangerous.
He’s a hazard to the female species.
And stupid me fell for it hook, line, and sinker.
I hold up my shaking hand now adorned with rings. “Because of this!”
He stares at them for a silent moment before meeting my eyes. “Who’d you marry?”
“You!” I shriek. “I married you!”
Does he seriously not remember?
Guess that makes two of us.
I lean over his body before wrapping my fingers around his hand and yanking it in front of his face.
My heart hitches as he stares at it. “Well, I’ll be damned.”
A curious quality fills his voice as if this is happening to someone else and he’s merely an observer.
