I’d expected to wake up this morning and find the insatiable need I’ve felt for her since she snagged my interest at Slap Shotz to have dissipated.

At least a little.

Instead, morning wood and the need to fuck had greeted me.

So, that’s exactly what we did.

Twice.

We were about to go for round three when Carina called to tell us that we were late for breakfast. Afterward, the girls left for their appointments at the spa. And the guys headed to a golf course to play nine holes.

At three o’clock, we loaded into a limo and took off for one of the nearby chapels. Even though I tried to convince Wolf to let Elvis preside over the service, he nixed that idea. Thirty minutes later, the happy couple was hitched. Now we’re at a bar, celebrating the newlyweds.

It’s probably the best damn wedding I’ve ever been invited to.

Britt flashes a smile at Fallyn before wrapping her arms around the inky-haired bride and giving her a warm embrace.

Since she’s unaware of my perusal, I allow my gaze to rake over her from head to toe. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why I’m so obsess—

Woah.

Correction. I am not obsessed.

I’m…

I don’t know what the fuck I am anymore.

Whatever it is, I need to work it out of my system.

Fast.

I’m jerked from those thoughts when someone knocks into my shoulder. I swing around and find Hayes.

Before I can say anything, he nods toward the group of girls. “What’s up with you and Britt?”

I don’t bother to pretend that I’m clueless as to what he’s talking about. Everywhere that girl goes, I find myself following. It’s like there’s an invisible string connecting us to one another.

All I have to say is that it’s a fucking first.

I shrug before raising a finger and signaling the bartender for another bottle of beer. “We’re just having a little bit of fun.”

He grins like a Cheshire cat.

“Let me guess—what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?”

“Yeah. Something along those lines,” I mutter, not liking the sound of that at all even though it’s exactly what I’d tried convincing myself of this morning after we showered together.

It’s nothing more than sex.

Normally, that assurance would bring me a modicum of comfort.

This time, it leaves me feeling vaguely dissatisfied.

It has to be the wedding atmosphere that’s putting all these strange thoughts in my head. People get all mushy and sentimental when they watch their friends get married. Then they start entertaining ideas they have no business thinking about.

“She’s definitely a gorgeous girl.” He glances at Britt and cocks his head. “If you’re not going to make a play for her, maybe I will.”

My head snaps in his direction as a growl rumbles up from my chest. “What the fuck did you just say?”

With a grin, he slaps my back and laughs, “Bit of fun, my ass. You’re totally screwed.”

When the bartender returns with my beer, Hayes snags her attention. “I’d like to order a round of Fireballs.”

“You got it,” the pretty girl behind the stretch of counter says with a wink.

Once the shots have been poured, Hayes carries the tray to our friends. Right before he takes off, I nab two small glasses and trail behind him. I circle the group before sliding in next to Britt and passing one over.

A smile lights up her face as color rides high on her cheeks. It only makes her golden eyes shine even more brightly. I’m struck all over again by just how gorgeous she is. Normally, when I see her around, she’s lowkey in jeans and a sweater with a ball cap pulled low over her eyes.

Don’t get me wrong, the girl is beautiful no matter what.

But dressed like this?

I’m definitely feeling a little tongue tied.

Her attention settles on the liquor in her hand. “I probably shouldn’t. I’ve already had way too much.”

There’s a slight slur to her voice.

Unfortunately for me, I haven’t had nearly enough to dampen the arousal careening through my veins or the wicked ideas that fill my head.

With my eyes fastened to hers, I lift my glass. “To the happy couple. May the love they feel for one another last until the end of time.”

Her expression softens. “Aww, that’s shockingly beautiful.”

Before I can ask if she wants me to drink hers, she tosses it back like a champ.

It’s only after she sets the glass down on the table that she swipes the back of her hand across her mouth. “That was such a bad idea.”

My gaze dips to her pink-slicked lips.

Lips that had been wrapped around my dick last night while I’d deep throated her. That’s all it takes for my cock to stiffen right up.

The question is out of my mouth before I can stop it. “Any interest in another bad idea?”

With a tilt of her head, she raises her brows. “That depends…is it something I’ll regret in the morning?”
