Everyone laughed and agreed besides Cheyenne and I. She just kept staring daggers at Leah as she approached our table.
Leah being Leah was leaned over to give me a hug when Cheyenne leaned forward and stuck her hand over her face and pushed her lightly away from me. Leah took a step back and teetered slightly, really working the pregnant card.
Cheyenne hadn’t even put much force behind the push, so Leah was trying to gain sympathy where she wasn’t going to find any.
Leah being the bitch she was started spewing her venom at that point.
“What the fuck, bitch?” she snarled.
Cheyenne sat their calmly with her hands in her lap. I was surprised at this, because I would have expected her to start fighting her with her claws out. Ember, however, did not disappoint.
“Don’t you call my friend a bitch, you hoe bag!” Ember said as she scooted her chair back with force and stood up. She put her hands on her hips and stared down her nose at Leah. I did a quick glance at the rest of the table and saw that Elliott had covered Blaine’s mouth with his hand and Jack was sitting there with a shit eating grin on his face. Gabe was staring at Ember with an unreadable look. Cheyenne had an evil looking smile on her face, like she knew this was going to be good.
Leah ignored her and tried to start a conversation with me. She put her hand to her back thrust her stomach forward trying to get a little closer to me in the process.
“Sam, I’ve missed you. How have you been doing?” She said suggestively.
“He’s doing well. He gets sex twice a day, and if he’s lucky he gets my mouth somewhere in between those two times.” Cheyenne said matter of factly.
I had just pulled my beer up to my lips and taken a drink when she said that, so I promptly choked when I started to laugh.
“Funny. I seem to remember one of those times in that back hallway over there.” I said tilting my head in the direction of the bathrooms.
A smile lit her face and her hand disappeared under the table and started rubbing my cock through my jeans. Leah’s eyes zeroed in on the action and she got a murderous look on her face.
“I remember when he used to do that to me too. He always comes back to me though. So don’t get used to him.” She said with a bitchy tone.
Unfortunately the only thing that did was put a sour taste in my mouth and piss off Cheyenne.
Oh fuck.
Cheyenne was out of her seat so fast that I didn’t have any time to react. My reflexes had to be quick or I was dead. I was also expecting this from Cheyenne, so her being able to get past me was a major feat. She was around me and standing in front of Leah nose to nose with her by the time my arm hooked around her waist and pulled her back into my lap.
Ember on the other hand had a hand full of Leah’s hair and was yanking her backwards, practically dragging her towards the bar door. Leah couldn’t do much since she was so pregnant except follow. Several patrons watched in horror as a pregnant woman was dragged by the hair across the bar room floor, but didn’t stop them.
“One of y’all should maybe follow her. I was trying to get there before Ember did something, but someone I shall not name stopped me.” Cheyenne said to the group.
Gabe got up and caught up with Ember just as she was about to exit the bar. He grabbed her hand carefully and had words with her while he was slowly disentangling her hand from Leah’s hair. He pulled her into his side once all the hair was out of her hand and had some low serious words with Leah. Leah turned and looked back at the table, and then looked back at Gabe who was still talking. Ember shot daggers at Leah with her eyes, and Gabe had to restrain her to his side. Leah’s face got murderous and looked into my eyes again. I looked away and buried my nose in Cheyenne’s neck and inhaled.
“I’m sorry, baby. I didn’t know she would make a scene like that, nor did I think she could find me. Otherwise I would have suggested giving it a few days.” I whispered into her hair.
“I need to go talk to her; she won’t leave until I do.”
She nodded and got up off my lap and returned to her own chair. I kissed her forehead and headed over to the entrance to where Gabe and Ember were still talking to Leah.
Leah turned to me and smiled wide, thinking that I was coming to her to help. I wasn’t.
“What do you want Leah?” I asked her.
“Can we have a little privacy? I haven’t seen you in forever, I need to talk to you.” She said back to me.
“No. Here is good. I don’t need to say much. I don’t know what you are trying to get here, but you are not going to get it.”
Gabe and Ember watched our exchange but didn’t say anything, just let the scene play out.
“The baby’s father won’t help me, and I have no one else to turn to. I’ve always loved you, and I want you back. I’m sorry for doing all those awful things to you, will you give me another chance?” she pleaded with me.
“No. You burned that bridge and you can’t cross it again. I have a new life now, and I don’t want you ruining it. Stay away from us. It’d be best if you just went back home. Lose my number.” I said to her before turning and heading back to Cheyenne.
“I will make your life a living hell, Sam. I know things about you that no one else does!” she seethed.
I got up in her face, towering over her and said “Listen, bitch. I don’t give a fuck about you. I want you to get the hell away from me and mine, and I don’t want to see you again, do you understand? Because if I do, you will regret it. I have a far reach, and I will ruin you. I will make sure that baby is taken away, and you will never see it again. I will make it to where you can’t show your face anywhere ever again without everyone knowing what type of person you really are.”
