“I’ve never had this connection with anyone,” she shared.

He carried her easily into her bedroom and sat her on the jumble of covers that Sapphire had left when she’d bounced out of bed that morning in the rush to get to the shop before her sister. Blade brushed his hand over her hair and leaned in to kiss her softly before scooping up Silver from his lazy spot on one pillow.
“Hello, Silver. I’m glad to see you again. I’m going to put you on the dresser for a bit. There are some things I don’t like having an audience for,” Blade said, as he walked over to place the teddy bear facing the wall.
Sapphire laughed, delighted at the biker’s calm tone as he explained his actions to the stuffie.
Blade returned and stood next to the bed. “We have too many clothes on, Little girl. Let me start and then I’ll unwrap my present.”
Sapphire stared at him, trying to figure out what he meant. He shrugged out of his leather vest and draped it over a nearby chair. His boots came off next, revealing teddy bear socks. Her gaze flew to his face in shock.
“Not everything I wear has to contain sharp edges,” he told her with a smirk.
That humorous grin combined with his chat with Silver made her smile back. She couldn’t wait to find out all the special quirks that made him so irresistible. Who knew stuffie socks on a hot biker could be so alluring?
He grabbed a condom from his back pocket and placed it on the nightstand. “I’ve been tested, Blue Eyes. Is there anything I need to know about your health?”
“I got checked after I broke up with my last boyfriend. I stopped taking my birth control pills. I’ve been so busy at the shop….”
“I’ll protect you, and we’ll make plans for the future later. Are you okay with that?”

“Daddy.” He interrupted her as he stripped off his belt. The view of the leather strip in his hand made her heart skip a beat.

Sapphire nodded before she realized what she was doing. “That doesn’t turn me on,” she blurted and her face heated immediately with embarrassment.
“It does, and you’ll feel my hand swatting your bottom if you’re naughty long before you’d earn a spanking with a belt.”
Staring at him, Sapphire struggled to come up with an answer to that statement. How could he know so much about her fantasies? He reached a hand out to lift her chin, gently closing her gaping mouth. Before she could become self-conscious, he threaded his fingers through her hair and deftly removed her scrunchie, letting her tresses tumble around her shoulders.

She wrapped her arms around his neck to pull him back down, but he circled her waist with his powerful hands and lifted her to stand in front of him.
