I merely shake my head and smile.
“Hey, to each their own.”
My boyfriend shakes his head again.
“Fuck. Women these days are crazy,” he marvels.
I giggle.
“They are, aren’t they? But it makes for an interesting life, not to mention a good time. Hey, I’m glad Elodie’s enjoying herself, and she’s so creative too. I never would have thought of that.”
Logan nods.
“But I’m glad you know who the father of your baby is,” he growls, turning toward me. “It’s my little swimmers who put that child in your belly.”
Immediately, I melt while throwing my arms around his shoulders.
“Yep, you’re my babydaddy and no one else,” I whisper against his mouth. “I love you, Logan Michaelson.”
“I love you too, sweetheart,” he rasps before seizing my lips with his own. Around us, the world fades because nothing else matters except for this man and our child. I used to think beauty pageants and secret island orgies were the stuff of life, but my priorities have changed. Now, I live the life of a homebody, surrounded by love, joy, and laughter, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
