“Loving it myself.” JB lifted his hips, his movements graceful and sexy beyond belief.

Cole grasped his hips and really started moving inside him. He clasped Cole’s cock like a vise and Cole had trouble breathing.

“Yes, right there!” JB cried out as he bucked his hips, tightening even more around Cole.

“Christ!” He dug his fingers into JB’s flesh, knowing with some part of his mind he’d leave bruises but unable to stop. JB kept crying out and fucking himself on Cole’s cock. Nothing had ever been this erotic in his life. Sweat dripped down his jaw and landed on JB’s ass and he ran his thumb over it, rubbing it into his skin. His blood hummed in his body, his brain starting to short out.

JB suddenly went taut, and Cole needed to feel him coming, so he reached around just as hot cum burst from JB’s cock. He captured some in his hand and stroked him through his release, marveling over the fact that JB had come without touching his dick. His ass was milking Cole and his breath left him in a harsh whoosh as his hips picked up speed.

“Yeah, fuck me!” JB yelled.

He pumped deeply inside him as his balls drew up. When his orgasm hit, the edges of his vision went black and he collapsed on top of JB, his mouth on the man’s skin. He nuzzled and shuddered as he spilled into the condom, the pleasure so intense it shorted out his brain. “Fuck,” he drew the word out as he opened his mouth on JB’s back.

JB flattened on the bed and Cole followed him, enjoying the feel of his body beneath him. He knew he should probably roll off him, give him room to breathe, but he couldn’t bring himself to move because the feel of JB was still going to his head. He nuzzled his skin again, dropping light kisses everywhere he could reach. He leaned up and buried his nose in the back of his neck, feeling the sweat there. He licked the saltiness and groaned. “That was so damn good.”

Cole finally rolled off JB, but he brought him into his arms, tugging him as close as possible. He pressed his lips to JB’s temple.

JB was silent for a long time before he sighed and looked up at Cole. “Was that good-bye?”

His chest tightened and he stared at the man. JB’s hair was all over the place and his jaw and cheeks were pink from Cole’s beard. He looked so gorgeous, it was all Cole could do to speak. But he did. He owed JB some kind of answer. “No…I don’t know. To tell you the truth, I don’t know what to do. I’ve built this entire life in Cincinnati, but right now, the idea of taking one step out that front door is killing me.”

JB closed his eyes and tucked his face into Cole’s chest. “You’re not leaving yet, right?”

Cole shook his head. “I talked to Rowe. Told him I want to stay until we have this mystery solved and you’re safe. He’s fine with me working remote and helping you.”

A hint of a smile crossed JB’s swollen lips, but it didn’t touch his eyes. “Scooby and Shaggy in action.”

Cole managed a small smile. “You don’t even have to promise me Scooby snacks.”

JB pressed his lips to Cole’s skin. “Then how about we just take this one day at a time and right now, be here with me.”

So he lay there and held the man, his body physically sated, but his mind a whirl of emotions and thoughts. He’d never felt anything like this in his life, and he was pretty sure he couldn’t give it up. That if he did, he’d regret it for the rest of his life.

Chapter Twenty-Three

Cole smiled and melted into the slow kiss JB pressed to his lips. He was becoming more addictive than that first cup of coffee. Definitely a good way to wake up in the morning, even though JB had been awake and running around the ranch for a few hours. Cole had been at Alexander Ranch for just over two weeks, and what had felt awkward was now becoming routine. His online hours had grown, thanks to new contracts for Ward Security. It meant him missing their early morning today, but JB came up with a new solution.

“Second breakfast,” JB murmured against his cheek. He nibbled along his jaw, and Cole happily hummed to himself.

“I’m not second breakfast,” Cole replied. He slipped his arms around JB’s waist and pulled the man between his legs as he waited for his coffee to finish brewing. He hadn’t even thought of his first breakfast yet. As it was, he’d only just stumbled out of JB’s bed and pulled on some sleep pants before starting his coffee.

JB snuggled close, pressing another kiss to his throat. He smelled of straw, horse, and leather—a combination that was quickly becoming familiar. Scents he was starting to associate with contentment and warmth.
