Hashtag winning.

I leaned an arm on the toilet lid and groaned while I reached for the toilet paper to swipe at my mouth.

“Oh, honey, are you alright?”

I tossed the paper into the bowl and flushed. I stood upright and looked behind me at a beautiful woman I hadn’t even heard come in the bathroom. She was watching me, concerned. I was shaky on my heels but felt a little better. Though still queasy.

This night sure had taken a turn. “I-I’m fine,” I said, reaching out for the stall frame to steady myself.

“You sure?” she said, grabbing a warm towel from a steamer box and handing it to me as if she didn’t know what else to do. “Here. You look a little pale.”

I took the towel, so soft and warm, and swiped at my face self-consciously. “Sorry, I—” I gestured behind myself. “This isn’t like me. We just had a big dinner out and—”

“Look, it’s not a big deal but, um…” She glanced nervously over her shoulder towards the door even though we were clearly the only two in the bathroom.

“What?” I asked as I finished swiping the cold sweat from my face. God, there was little I hated more than throwing up. It just made me feel awful all over.

The woman in front of me had thick, beautifully shaped eyebrows, especially highlighted as she leaned in towards me and one hiked up. “Look, you seem nice. And Lena’s a bitch.”

I jerked backward at hearing the name. This chick knew Lena? Did that mean Lena was here? In the club?

I looked towards the door just like the woman had.

“I won’t tell her about anything I saw here.” She waved a hand at my sudden obvious anxiety. “But you should know she sent me in here to spy on you and then make some heavy hints about how it was a bad look to be hanging on both Mavros brothers at once. How it would give people the wrong idea.”

Shit. My back stiffened. “The wrong idea?”

The woman rolled her beautiful brown eyes. “Oh you know, all that bullshit with their last publicist. It’s clear you guys are just out having fun. But Lena loves to stir up drama wherever she goes.”

I wondered why she stayed “friends” with Lena, but there was more pressing information on the table.

“What the hell?” I said, lifting a hand to my forehead. I felt dizzy. I couldn’t deal with Lena drama right now. We should’ve suspected she’d be here tonight. We knew she’d be in town and of course she’d come to this club since it was the best. Only the best for precious Lena.

And now she’d gone and seen us all unguarded around each other. But what had she really seen? The boys on just another adrenaline high adventure. Testing how far they could take things, not just in public, but in public here.

God! No wonder I’d gotten sick. My head was just catching up to what my body had obviously instinctively sensed about the situation. This whole thing was rotten.

“And fyi, the other reason she sent me in here was to distract you while she makes a move on Leander. I thought I’d give you a heads up. Seems like you’re having a rough enough night.”

I looked at her, touched by her random act of kindness. “Thanks. I didn’t even get your name.”

“Dakota,” she said, then gave me a significant look, magnificent eyebrows in full effect. “But you didn’t hear any of this from me. I gotta head out. You okay now?”

I nodded. “Thanks again.”

She gave a little wave with her fingers and then pulled the door open.

I yanked my phone out to dial Milo. I officially needed him to get me out of here ASAP. I didn’t need to see the Lena and Leander make-out session Part Deux as another publicity stunt.

But instead of the messenger app, I accidentally thumbed on the calendar app and it gave me the month view. Before I could click out of it, I stopped and paused. Every day was stuffed full of events.

There was something missing, though. The little discrete dots I put on the day my period started. It was a little trick I’d begun to track my periods when I’d had some weird inter-period spotting a few years ago.

But… there weren’t any dots.

And I’d just thrown up.

I laughed out loud at how ridiculous the possibility was.

Then the laughter cut off sharply as I did some quick math. I’d first had sex with the twins on the plane to London… three weeks ago. We’d trusted the “day after” pill but had pushed the days because Leander had liked having me bare…

My thoughts were spinning too fast.

I wanted to deny it was possible. But three weeks after impregnation counted as five weeks pregnant. Information I only knew because of a pregnancy scare with Makayla last year.
