His cock worked in and out of her. “That’s what I can see. Look at how beautiful you are. Taking my cock like a good girl.”
She rocked back against him, turning her head and looking into his eyes.
She would always be his good girl. Noelle was never like this with anyone else, just with him. Evil made her feel safe. He made her feel desired, and above all else, he made her feel wanted.
That was all she had ever desired.
Loved.
She tensed up as Evil grabbed her hard, holding her in place as he continued to fuck her.
Noelle had given up on the notion of love. Love was for fairytales. Evil didn’t do love.
She wasn’t going to risk rejection. Even though it hurt to know she was never going to be loved.
Chapter Seven
Evil hung up his cell phone as Noelle entered the room carrying two cups of coffee. They were at his casino, and he had yet to get a fully detailed report of how much the mafia knew. The longer it took, the higher the chance they knew a great deal of shit.
“You look angry,” she said.
“He needs more time.” Something didn’t sit right with him, though. His guy never needed more time.
“You could use me as bait,” Noelle said. She put his coffee on the desk, sipping at hers. The bruises on her face had all but disappeared. Just a few specks of yellow that unless he really looked at her, he couldn’t see.
“Not happening.”
“If you want to know the answer, use me. Why not?”
“I’m protecting you.”
“You’re keeping me close and not allowing me to breathe at times. Trust me, this isn’t protection. Maybe you’re being overprotective.”
“You’re still breathing. That is not overprotection.”
“Maybe they don’t care,” Noelle said.
“They care.”
She smiled. “Why?”
Evil sat back and looked at her. “Because I took this land from them. I own this city, and I made sure to get rid of them.” He shrugged. “I pushed them back. I was able to do what no one else did, and the Franco Mafia has not been happy with me since. I made them a mockery.”
“But you wanted to own this city?” Noelle asked.
He stared at her. Evil had never talked about his reasonings.
She held her hands up in surrender. “Come on, Evil. I’m here with you all the time. I’m not running away. I’m prepared to stay and fight.” She sighed. “Don’t you think I deserve a little bit of the truth? Unless you don’t trust me.”
He never trusted anyone, but Noelle was different. She had always been freaking different and he couldn’t stop that.
“I survived in this city. Bumped from foster place to foster place. Seeing how corrupt everyone was. No one takes notice of a kid, but I watched, I learned, and I saw that the Franco Mafia were not good people. They exploited, hurt, tortured, and they were not good men. Not good leaders. They had to be stopped. So, I got strong. I found men the Franco Mafia had shit on. They had cast them out like they were nothing, and I built myself an army. This city needed a strong leader. I am that leader. They didn’t need someone weak and pathetic.” Evil picked up his coffee. “It took me a week.”
“A week?”
“Yes, the moment I decided to rid the city of Franco Mafia, it took me one week. I wiped out their businesses, took everything from them, and then removed their capos from power. One week. It was the easiest week of my life. No real fight there. It was all in name only. Kind of pissed off a few of the Franco enemies as well.”
“How?”
“I was a no one. A fighter without a purpose. I wasn’t owned. I was just a name. A faceless name people started to fear.”
“Wow,” Noelle said.
“Yes.”
“And you fear the Franco Mafia now? Have they gotten stronger?”
Evil looked at Noelle. She had no real idea of what she meant to him.
“They know I have a weakness, Noelle. I never had a weakness during that week and any day since.”
“Maybe I should leave?” she asked. “I don’t want to cause you any trouble.”
“Come here,” he said, putting his coffee cup down on the counter.
Noelle placed hers beside his and stood in front of him. He had pushed his chair back and had given them plenty of room. She wore a pencil skirt and a white blouse. The fabric was almost see-through. He saw the lace of her bra.
Evil had already warned every single man in his employ that when it came to Noelle, she wasn’t to be looked at. That he would gouge out their eyes if they did.
As he pushed her skirt up her hips, she rolled her eyes. “You had me just this morning,” she said.
“And I want you again.”
He pushed the zipper of his pants down and released the button. She wore fucking panties again, and he tore them off her body.
