He laid his body over hers, holding his cock deep inside as he kissed her. He wrapped his arms around her and felt her do the same as their tongues stroked each other. This was what all the other sex had been missing. This wild connection he felt, this tenderness that did nothing to quench the fire between them.
The only thing that could make it better was Van being with them. He wasn’t sure why Van hadn’t joined them, but he wasn’t going to stop for a therapy session. He kissed her again and started moving his hips, dragging his cock in and out, twisting his hips so he ground down on her clitoris. He found a rhythm that worked, feeling her tighten around him. Her nails bit into his shoulders, a minor pain that he enjoyed mightily. It made him growl and thrust in harder as her legs wrapped around his waist, tightening.
Her back bowed, and she was calling out his name as she came.
He felt his balls draw up and then he lost all control. He thrust into her, giving her everything he had.
When he dropped on top of her, her hands smoothed over his back and he let his head find the crook of her neck.
This was the moment when they would normally switch positions and start everything over again, but she needed more than to be passed between them.
He kissed her cheek and let his body slide to her side. “You okay?”
She looked at him with sleepy, satisfied eyes. “So much more than okay. I’m perfect. I actually think I might sleep. I never sleep.”
He loved that they’d put that happy look on her face. His whole body was humming and he could probably run a marathon, but all he was going to do was deal with the condom and hop back in bed with her. “You stay here and let Van keep you warm. I’ll be right back.”
He rolled out of bed and Van was standing at the end of it. He’d put his boxers back on and there was a blank expression to his face that changed the minute he realized Elisa was looking up at him. Then he slid into bed beside her, giving her a smile that didn’t seem quite right.
“Come here. I barely got to kiss you.” Van settled her in his arms.
And Hale hoped he was wrong, but he could feel trouble coming.
Chapter Seven
Van laid in bed, waiting for the moment when he could slip out. He’d manage to sleep for a couple of hours, and now he was pretty sure it was almost dawn. There was enough light from the crack in the curtains that he could see Elisa wrapped in Hale’s arms. Her head lay against his chest, and she looked so peaceful.
So did Hale.
He was not needed here.
That had been apparent since the moment Hale decided to change up the game plan and go completely rogue. They were supposed to get her between them, to show her how good it could be to have two men pleasure her.
They were not supposed to show her how good it could be to get Van off real fast and then let Hale take over and have the two of them so wrapped up in each other there was no place for him.
By the time he’d gotten his hands on her, she’d been sleepy. He’d kissed her and cuddled her and she’d fallen asleep in his arms, but the minute Hale had come back she’d shifted and wrapped herself around him.
Would they even notice if he left? He thought not. They’d barely noticed when he’d climbed into bed next to Elisa after Hale had finished fucking her.
Ah, but he hadn’t fucked her, and that’s what’s bothering you. He made love to her. He’s so invested in this woman and you’re still not sure if you’re even going to be here in a couple of months. Hale is changing, and that’s what’s bugging you.
He did not want to be reasonable tonight.
He eased out of bed and then stopped as Elisa turned over in her sleep and seemed to reach for something. She found the pillow he’d been using and sighed as she cuddled it close.
He needed to get out of here. He would sit down and reassess and decide if he could move forward with the understanding that he was the outsider in this relationship. If it was a relationship.
If it’s not a relationship, then why the fuck are you panicking?
Yeah, he needed to figure that out. He found his jeans and shirt and quickly got dressed.
He could text her later and explain he had an emergency…bartending event. Yeah, that would work. He didn’t want to hurt her feelings, but he also didn’t think she needed a big emotional discussion with a dude she barely knew who already had the feels for her and worried she liked his best friend more and he was going to get cut out.
