His orgasm seemed to go on forever, and he didn’t want it to stop.
Afterward, they collapsed on the bed. He eased his cock out of her ass and wrapped his arm around her waist.
He’d run a bath for her in a moment, but for now, he had to feel her against him.
“That was incredible,” she said.
“We’ll be doing that again,” Brett said.
“My sore ass.” She burst out laughing.
“I think I need to sleep,” Ace said.
“Oh, dear, did we wear you out?” Meredith asked, turning her voice soft. She rolled over and snuggled up against him.
He wasn’t even close to sleep, but he knew saying how tired he was would get her attention.
“I’m more than good right now.”
“Babe, I think you just got played.” Brett chuckled against her skin.
“That is so not fair.” She pouted. “You shouldn’t use my kind nature against me.”
“I got what I wanted.” He pushed some of her hair off her face. “I’m going to run that bath though. It’ll help soothe you for tomorrow.”
“What would I do without you?” she asked.
“Not a lot. Remember that. Your vibrator was a waste of time,” he said. “It would never have been able to handle your needs.”
“It was doing okay,” she said.
“It would never give you this.” He held her tightly and kissed her on the lips. “It doesn’t care, whereas we do. That’s the difference, and no matter what you say, Meredith, I know deep down, you want to be cared for.”

“These are your best yet,” Will said several weeks later.
“Thank you.” Meredith tucked some hair behind her ear and watched as the last of her paintings were tucked away safely in the van that Will had come in.
“I knew this place would be amazing for you.”
“You did?”
“Yeah, you needed to get away, find yourself. You’d become too trapped in your memories.”
“Yeah.” She smiled and stared down at her hands. They were covered in paint as they were most days just recently.
“Why do I feel you’re not as happy as I’d hoped you’d be?”
“It’s nothing.”
“I can read you like a book, Meredith. You’re happier than I’ve ever seen you, so what’s with this mood? You’re sad.”
She shrugged. “Just thinking about a lot of things lately.”
“Such as?” He sat down on the chair opposite her.
“You know, stuff.”
“Does this have to do with those two boys next door?”
“They’re not boys. They’re a little older than me.”
“Still, they’re younger than me.”
“True,” she said, laughing.
“What about them?”
“I don’t know. I’m just trying to figure a few things out, you know. Trying to see what the future holds.” Being lost in her painting, she’d realized how much she loved both men. There wasn’t a favorite, and this wasn’t just a bit of fun to her.
She loved Ace and Brett with all of her heart. They were the two friends she didn’t want to give up, not ever.
“You’re in love with both of them?” Will asked.
“What makes you think that?”
“I know you. Your parents don’t approve of your life right now. You know deep down they’ll never be happy with you being with two men.”
She took a deep breath. “It’s not just that. It’s everything.”
“Such as?”
“Do you think I’m a slut?”
“I thought you didn’t care what people think.”
“I don’t. I don’t. You’re important to me, Will. You’re not like everyone else.”
“True. I am special.” He sighed. “Honey, I don’t care, okay? You have given me a chance to see my family before it was too late. I was working all the time, never saw my kids. Couldn’t even remember their ages or names half the time. You love two men, and from what I’ve seen both of those men, they love you, Meredith. More than anything.”
“They do?”
“You don’t know?”
“We don’t talk about things like that. I told them about losing my baby and how that affected me. They both started talking about babies, but nothing else has come from it. I don’t know. Maybe I’m reading too much into it or something.”
“The last time I checked, the only way to know for certain how a person feels is to ask them, or better yet, propose.”
“Is that what you did?” she asked.
“Yep. I didn’t have a clue how Sarah would feel about me, so I decided to give it a go as the saying goes. Now I live happily ever after with my wife, and we’ve got beautiful children, Meredith. You deserve happiness. Those men will grant it you. Your private life is your own, but I will always be here for you, regardless of what happens. Not only do I think you’re extremely talented, you’re a good person. Inside and out. I’ll do anything for you.”
“I love you too, Will.”
“I know, honey.” He hugged her close.
“Thank you for not giving up on me and for not freaking out about … you know.”
“Your lack of productivity?”
