I shift nervously in my seat. “We’re not killing her, are we?” I ask with a raised brow.

I’ve only been in Hell a handful of times with Tristan, and it’s like he’s a different person down there. There’s always been a kind of darkness that lurks within him, one that knows no bounds or rules when he’s in the most ruthless part of the club. I was already a little uneasy when he mentioned wanting to take the stranger to Hell, because I’m not willing to kill a woman just to figure out who the hell she is.

“Kill the bitch? Nah.” His tone isn’t very convincing. “But I’m definitely going to get four hundred thousand dollars’ worth of use out of her.” A sinister smile settles on his lips as his hand grips the steering wheel tighter. “Today’s a great day to go to Hell.”

While it will be a victory for us, I can’t begin to think of the torture Tristan will put the woman through. I settle in my seat and try to relax. I can only hope the lady is a praying woman, because she’s going to need to call on whatever God she worships to survive what Tristan has in store.

Not even the devil can tame Tristan once he’s in Hell.

CLEO

This is a big mistake.

I wring my hands in my lap, sitting on the bed. I shouldn’t have accepted this new arrangement, especially when Lucian told me that it wouldn’t be in Heaven but in freaking Hell. I’ve heard all the stories surrounding this level of the club, exactly zero of them being good. But the money was too much to pass up. They doubled what they were originally going to pay me—$400,000—for only two hours of my time.

Everything screamed in me not to take it, to walk away while I still had the chance, but I couldn’t.

They’ve already taken my virginity; I can’t just walk away with nothing. It’s just two hours. I can manage that. Once I do it, I don’t have to see Talon and Tristan ever again. I’ll have money to not only get my car but to move far away so I can be sure I’ll never see them again after tonight.

It’s like déjà vu, the same anxiety and worry coursing through me as it had been when I was waiting for them before. Except this time, I know who they are. I still can’t even believe it’s them. I haven’t seen them in years, even though I think about them often.

I haven’t seen them ever since I left their family home all those years ago, and honestly, I didn’t think I’d run into the brothers again. I saw pictures of them around town, as they’re now the new faces of their father’s company. I always wondered if they ever thought about me as much as I thought about them. But I never thought I’d ever run into them in person again. And I definitely didn’t think I’d run into them again at a freaking sex club.

I swear fate has a way of throwing curveballs at me that hit me square in the face every damn time.

My only saving grace is that they don’t know who I am. As long as they don’t know, it’ll be fine. If they realize that they’ve taken the virginity of someone who used to be their foster sister, they’ll probably have the same reaction I did and probably refuse to pay me. I can’t risk that happening.

I check my mask once again to make sure it’s secure and that it’s double knotted so they can’t easily take it off. I put on a little more makeup to try to make myself more unrecognizable to them, just in case they try to make me take my mask off. If they’re as private as Lucian claims they are, they’ll probably be as protective about their identity as I am about mine.

A girl can dream.

The door flies open and startles me as they storm into the room. Seeing them again almost makes me want to toss this whole plan out the window.

Tristan slams the door shut and rips off his mask. So much for wanting to protect their privacy…

He doesn’t say a single word to me as he stomps over and snatches my mask off. I gasp in surprise, my hands moving to where the mask was a split second ago. It’s leather, not paper. So how did Tristan freaking rip it off so fast?

Despite the tight knots I thought I’d put to secure the thing on my face, I’m now exposed to them. Fully.

Confusion and frustration fill his gaze as he stares at me, and I fight the urge to sigh in relief. He doesn’t recognize me. He has no idea who I am.

“Who are you?” he asks, his eyes still searching my face for the answer to his question.
