He wasn’t wrong.
I jumped headfirst into the planning that very night.
Even so, though, I was hiding a little bump under a very forgiving dress a few months later.
Matteo - 11 years
“I’m not sure I even want to know why the outside battery-operated car is somehow in my kitchen,” Josie said, walking in with Smush, both of them with their arms loaded down with bags.
We used Smush to do our shopping most of the time, but since she was heavily pregnant with yet another kid, Josie chose to go along to help.
“Baby, I don’t even know how they got it in here,” I told her, shaking my head. “Those things are heavy as fuck.”
“And they’re determined as hell,” Josie said, shrugging it off. The floors could be cleaned. And I could patch up the corners of the island that were more wood glue than actual wood after ten years of children ramming things into them.
“And this is why my basement is an actual indoor jungle gym,” Smush said, dropping immediately down onto an island stool as soon as she put down her bags.
It was, too. Our kids liked going over there to play with hers for that very reason. There was even a damn bike path around the outside of it. It helped that Smush had, well, married really fucking rich. Absurdly rich. Yacht kind of rich. So their basement was an easy twenty-five-hundred square feet of insanity for the kids to destroy instead of the upstairs levels.
“How are you feeling?” I asked, nodding toward her belly. She was almost ready to pop.
“Oh, fat. Ornery. Exhausted. Just how my husband likes me,” she added, laughing.
“Hey, it’s his fault for knocking you up again,” Josie said.
“My point exactly. I mean, really, five wasn’t enough?” she asked.
She was joking, though. Smush took to motherhood much the way Adrian had. With everything in her. She only kept her little “side business” going because it was an excuse to go shopping alone a few times a week while Adrian watched the kids. Which, of course, she was all-too-happy to do.
And who were we to speak? We had four. We might have had more, but each pregnancy got more and more risky for Josie, so we’d made the decision not to have more.
I’d gone for the snip.
And that was that.
Besides, four was more than enough for us.
We had a boy who was nine (almost ten), a girl who was seven, then two more boys, aged five and three.
We’d been worried about our daughter being so outnumbered, but as it would turn out, thanks to her mom, Adrian, Smush, and even Marcie, our girl was the ringleader of our little circus, ruling everyone with a whip and a shitton of attitude.
“In my defense,” Sofia said, letting out a heavy groan as she got back to her feet. “My damn husband comes from a long line of twins. So, I’ve technically only been knocked up as much as you,” she said, giving Josie a smile.
The universe had tricked them into thinking they would be a normal family when their firstborn was a single birth. Then they’d had two sets of twins. And, finally, another single.
“That’s true,” Josie agreed.
“Alright. I have to get back to my zoo. Same time next week?”
“Same time next week, I think we will be visiting you and the baby at the hospital,” Josie said, leading her toward the door.
“From your mouth to God’s ears. I want this one out. They’ve been drop-kicking my bladder for long enough. Oh, hate to be the bearer of bad news,” she added as she moved outside, “but your animals seem to have made a mudslide in your side yard. That’s going to be fun.”
And with that, she was gone.
Josie moved back inside, making her way over toward me.
“Aren’t we going to stop them?” I asked as she came up to me, running her hands up my stomach.
“Nope. They are always busy for hours when they are getting into trouble,” she said, her hands snagging my button, then my zipper. “So it seems like we can have a little alone time.”
Which, admittedly, was hard to come by with four kids.
We’d needed to get inventive and adaptive to get some time to have fun together still.
We could usually count on the kids leaving us alone if they believed we were doing some sort of chore that they feared they might get wrapped into.
Mommy and Daddy are going to clean out the garage. Anyone want to help?
You literally wouldn’t see the older ones for hours.
I didn’t have time to consider if it was still a bad idea, because Josie’s hand was sneaking into my pants to grab my cock that was already hard with just the idea of getting a few minutes alone with her.
My hand went under her skirt, playing with her pussy until she was whimpering and begging for me.
