“Let me get something straight,” Keaton says, his voice deadly now. “Did someone invite you to join a fucking threesome?”

“No.” She rolls her eyes. “Jesus, I’m not that lucky. You’re all too sober. I’m going to find Erin.”

She wanders off, and I can’t help but laugh. These people are fun.

“You’ve been quiet,” Keaton says to Drew, who looks up and shrugs, drinking his soda. “What’s wrong with you? Do you hate the new job already?”

“You started?” I ask. “That was fast.”

“I’m transitioning,” Drew replies. “And I don’t hate it. But I met the new owners yesterday in a leadership meeting, and that was…interesting.”

“Interesting how?” I lean forward. “I want all the tea. Spill it.”

“Both of them were there. Rome and London.”

“Which one’s which?” Liam asks.

“Rome is the guy. London’s the girl,” I inform Liam, who nods. “Keep going.”

“They just don’t know much about the sport,” Drew continues. “And it’s not a big deal, but I have a feeling that they’re going to try to have their fingers in everything, and it’s going to get old, fast.”

“They own the team,” Keaton says with a shrug. “They have every right to be in the thick of it. And, with time, they’ll learn.”

“I get it,” Drew says. “I don’t like it, but I get it. And London is just so…opinionated.”

“About what?” I want to know.

“Everything. She wants new uniforms, which…whatever. We get new ones every year. But she wants the coaches to wear uniforms, too, and she’d like to help pick them out like she’s a damn fashion designer.”

“She is.”

I grin when all three pairs of handsome eyes turn to me.

“What do you mean?” Keaton asks me.

“She’s been in the fashion world, in some form or another, for years. She’s especially fond of shoes.”

“That explains a lot,” Drew says with a sigh.

“How do you know this?” Liam leans on his hand, listening to me.

“Because I love fashion and shoes, too.” I laugh when the three of them roll their eyes. “Stop it. It’s not just a girl thing. I know plenty of men who love shoes. Anyway, it makes sense that she’d take an interest in that since she knows about it.”

“It’s stupid,” Drew mutters darkly.

“Is she pretty?” Keaton asks and gets a glare from Drew. “Ah, I see. She’s hot.”

“She’s going to be a pain in the ass.”

“Not your ass,” I point out. “You’re not the head coach or the general manager. You probably won’t have to deal with her much at all.”

“She wants to attend my practices so she can learn.” He takes a sip of his drink in disgust. “How am I supposed to get my shit done with some spoiled billionaire’s daughter hanging out at my practices?”

“Good luck with that,” Liam says, patting Drew on the back. “Keep me posted. Now, I’m gonna go dance.”

Liam rushes off, and Drew continues to sulk into his drink.

“You need to cheer up,” I say. “You still have your dream job, and you’re making good money, I’m sure. She’ll lose interest after a while. Or she’ll learn everything she can and move on to the offensive coach.”

“Let’s hope,” Drew says with a sigh. “And you’re right. I still have a sweet deal.”

“You’re such an optimist,” Keaton says to me with a grin. “Come on, sunshine girl, let’s dance.”

“I won’t turn that down.”

But Keaton doesn’t lead me out to the dance floor. He bypasses it completely and drags me away from the party altogether, to a little building nearby.

“I thought we were going to dance.”

“Oh, we are.” He looks around to see if we’re being watched and then tugs me inside.

From the quick glimpse I get of the room, it looks like wine barrels are stored in here. Likely empty ones.

And suddenly, Keaton lifts me, braces my back against the door, and kisses the hell out of me. This isn’t deep and slow; this is fierce. This is I haven’t had my hands on you all day, and I’m about to change that.

“What is it about us and weddings?” My voice is breathy and hitched as Keaton reaches down to unfasten his pants and doesn’t bother to move my panties to the side.

He simply rips them off me.

“I guess I didn’t need those.”

“I need to be inside of you.” His voice is just this side of a growl, and it only makes me want him more. “Jesus, I’ve been watching you all fucking day, so damn beautiful in this dress, so fucking classy and sweet, and all I could think about was sinking inside of you.”

“Then do it.”

He doesn’t have to be told again. He pulls out a condom, rips the foil, and handles the protection. He’s not gentle when he pushes inside of me, but I don’t want gentle right now. I want fast and hard, and that’s exactly what he’s giving me.

“Damn,” I mutter, my hands braced on his shoulders as he continues to push harder and harder. “Yes. Jesus, yes.”
