I shook my head. “No, I just want you inside me. Please. I need it to hurt.”
“So fucking hot.” He pulled a packet of lube from his pocket. I was glad he’d brought it. I didn’t need prep. I didn’t want this to be easy, but I didn’t really want to do it dry either.
I watched as he spread the slickness over his shaft then set the tube aside. He pressed down on the back of my thighs as he moved closer. “You’re open to me now. You can’t get away. You can’t hide. I’m going to give you all you can take and more.”
“Please, Ghost. I need this.” I’d never begged anyone for anything before.
“I believe you, angel, and I have everything you need.”
I thought he just might, and that terrified me.

GHOST
I surged forward, thrusting hard against the resistance of Rogue’s ass. He whimpered as I forced him to stretch around me. I knew it had to burn like fire, but he didn’t try to get away. Instead, he pulled me closer, wrapping his legs tightly around me and holding onto my biceps with a grip so hard I knew I’d have bruises.
Being inside him like this was heaven. He was so damn eager. I knew it must feel like I was ripping him apart, but he didn’t mind how much it hurt. He wanted it. He wanted me. Even more amazing, he trusted me.
No one trusted me unless they were ordering me to do something for them that few people were capable of. People admired me for my moral neutrality, but they didn’t care about anything but results. If someone came along with better skills, they’d replace me. But in that moment, I’d convinced myself no one else could do this for Rogue. No one else could make him feel the way I could. No one else could make him beg.
Rogue was panting and struggling, fighting me as I drove deeper, giving him all of me.
I didn’t wait for him to adjust. I didn’t want to give him any mercy, and I didn’t think he wanted any. He cried out when I pulled back and thrust deep again.
“Is this what you need? To be taken hard and rough, to know there’s no escape?
“Yes. Dammit, Ghost. Don’t stop.”
I had no intention of stopping, not until we’d both fully exhausted ourselves.
I worked him as hard as I could. The sound of our bodies slapping together echoed in the pasture.
He whined. “Need to come. Please, Ghost. Please, I need it.”
I shifted my position slightly, pulling his hips up and slamming in again. He gasped and tightened his grip on my arms, telling me I hit the spot I was aiming for.
“Right there. Don’t stop. Oh God, I think… I’m so close…”
His cock was so stiff it stood up from his body. The sight made me more determined to make him come like this, with no one touching him.
“Show me how much you want this, angel. Show me you can come for me when I demand it.”
He sobbed. “I… I don’t… Please…”
“You can do anything, remember?”
“Fuck. I… Fuck.” Cum shot from him, and the look of pure ecstasy on his face broke the last bit of my control. I thrust deep inside him, giving him every bit of my load. By the time we finished, we were a sweaty, sticky mess.
I wasn’t sure he was still awake, but as I pulled back, he looked up, gaze locking with mine.
“Kiss me.”
Nothing could have stopped me from doing as he asked. Our bodies slid against each other as I held him tight and kissed him until I had to break away and suck in air.
He pulled my head down to his chest and ran his hand up and down my back. His touch was so soothing I was in danger of falling asleep, naked in a field. That was something I’d never imagined doing.
“What’s your name?” he asked, his voice low and scratchy.
“Ghost. Did I really fuck you that hard?”
He slapped my ass. “Your real name.”
Why did telling him feel more intimate than what we’d just done? No one had called me anything but Ghost for a long time. “You don’t think my parents named me Ghost?”
Rogue laughed. “No. Did they?”
“Hell no. They were either dead or dead to me before I learned how to disappear.”
“Do you want to talk about that?”
“No.” Though if I was going to tell anyone more about my past, it would be Rogue.
“Are you really not going to tell me?” Rogue looked both annoyed and hurt.
“Gabriel. It was my grandfather’s name.”
He studied me for a moment then nodded. “An archangel. It fits you.”
He couldn’t be serious. “You’re kidding me, right?” I was no angel.
“No. I’ve thought you looked like an angel from the first time I saw you.”
Sometimes when I was with Rogue I wondered if I had just dreamed him. “You are so surprising.”
