“My husband usually buys them for me,” I admitted.

“Oohh, lucky girl,” she winked.

“Yeah, trust me, you don’t know him, because if you did, you wouldn’t be saying that,” I joked.

“Come with me. I have something that I think might be just right.” I followed her to the end of the store. “With your olive skin color, this soft pink would be perfect. It’s a Basque, basically a corset, which hugs just right. It’s soft and sophisticated with its silk demi-padded cups, French lace overlay and bone sewn in to give you that perfect hourglass shape. It comes with the lacy panties too.” She laid it on the dark wooden table in the middle of her store.

“Okay, how about a slip?” I asked.

“I like the way you think. Start off with the alluring silk slip then put on the Basque for later. A little appetizer before the main course.” She smiled wickedly.

“You could say that,” I said shyly.

“All right, it just so happens that I have a 1930’s style silk slip with lace and a subtle little slit that stops right before the butt. Come, we’ll need to try them on.” She pulled my hand, taking me to the dressing room.

“Um…I can undress myself,” I said hesitantly.

“Listen, sweetheart, I’ve seen everything. There is nothing you have there that I haven’t dealt with,” she said flatly. For Daimon, I reminded myself as I slowly took off my shirt.

“I see why.” She smiled looking at me and not my scar. “Sweetheart, don't mind me saying this, but the look in your eyes, the reason why you’re here. The man loves you and I doubt that mark will change that,” she said candidly. “Come on now, I need to see that I chose right,” she teased.

“I’m sorry, Drako. Don’t be mad,” I said to him as I locked him up in the other bedroom. “But I don’t think it’s sexy having you jumping up and down, especially with what I’m about to do.”

This morning the idea seemed so fun and exciting, but as the time ticked by, I was nervous as hell and regretting it. I walked downstairs with the tiny little slip I bought. The sales clerk was right. The gorgeous Basque and a short kimono that matched, fit like it was made just for me. I felt sexy and alive as I walked in it, despite my nerves. I’d added the kimono on top since I was a little too nervous to walk around with just the slip alone.

I had made wild mushroom risotto and red wine braised meat. I did have a full glass of merlot just to relax myself. I put on the album AIR and played their song “La Femme D’Argent.”

“Addie?” Daimon called out my name as he stood by the foyer looking at me. Daimon in a three-piece suit was a sight for sore eyes. He stood tall in his dark blue suit with a baby blue shirt and light brown shoes. I bit the inside of my lower lip, urging myself not to run to him. No! I was going to do what I set my mind to. I watched as he kicked off his shoes while still smiling at me. “What’s this?” he asked, his voice as sexy as ever.

“Oh, this?” I said softly, moving my fingers up and down my kimono. “This is nothing.” I gave him my best come-hither and fuck-me look.

“It doesn’t look like nothing,” he said, his voice low as he slowly eyed me from the bottom of my pink boudoir mules, right to the top. My makeup was done perfectly as was my hair, per my sales clerk’s advice.

“Aren’t you hungry?” I asked as I moved in a leisurely manner to the already set table, picking up my second glass of wine. Daimon cleared his throat and unbuttoned his suit jacket. “A little,” he smiled, amused by my efforts.

“I made wild mushroom risotto and braised meat,” I said as I moved away from his grasp. Daimon let out a sigh and sat down, making sure to never to let me out of his sight. I felt sexy and tempting. It only fueled me more as I started my little teasing dance. “I think it’s getting a little hot in here, don’t you?” I fanned myself.

“A little,” Daimon said gruffly as he shifted in his seat a little.

“I still feel hot. What should I do?” I asked as I slowly yanked at the silk sash, opening up the kimono. Daimon’s eyebrow lifted slightly as he sat back into his chair. “I’m still just too hot,” I said as I let the kimono slip off, making it gently fall to the floor. Daimon’s breath hitched. “Tsk, I dropped it,” I acted coy. I turned around and bent down letting the silk slip ride up just enough so he could see my bare ass. Right on cue, Daimon let out a breath.
