“He’s got the tome there. And check this last line, there. It’s a message sent just a few minutes ago. Same area code. He’s got Mimic there, too.”

Roman leaned back in his chair, smiling. This was exactly what he needed—a green light to go ahead with the plan. He didn’t want to infiltrate a secret underwater base if there was nothing to gain from it, but this changed that. This confirmation made it a no-brainer.

“You’re incredible, Salt. Absolutely incredible.”

Wyatt turned the computer back to him, sitting down with his legs tucked underneath him. His boxer shorts rose up his thighs, turning them into briefs, the button in the center of the crotch working a double shift trying to keep everything contained inside.

“Come over here,” Roman said, opening his legs and patting his thigh. Wyatt stood up with that same cocky grin, walking over and sitting on Roman’s lap, an arm wrapping around Roman’s shoulders.

Roman put a hand on Wyatt’s neck and pulled him down, needing to feel their lips collide. He kissed him, whispering against his mouth, “You really are incredible, you know that, right?”

“Sometimes, I tend to forget,” Wyatt whispered back, his fingers gently drawing circles on the back of Roman’s head, sending tingles running straight down his spine. “But you always find a way to help me remember.”

“That’s because I never want you to forget. I want you to own your worth, understand how talented you are. How intelligent, and kind, and passionate, and loved.”

“Remind me again how loved I am,” Wyatt said with a smirk.

Roman answered him with an even deeper kiss, adjusting Wyatt so he no longer sat on him like he was a mall Santa but instead straddled him, legs dangling off the chair, the button of his boxer briefs slipping open as Wyatt grew harder underneath.

“Very,” Roman said. He slipped his hands under Wyatt’s shirt, running them up his side.

“Today was scary.” Wyatt’s voice trembled with vulnerability and maybe something else. “I still can’t believe everything that happened.”

“I can’t, either. I’m hurting for Mimic and Mustang.”

“I can see it. How stressed you are.” Wyatt dropped his head, eyes shut, nestled it against Roman’s shoulder. “I believe in you, though. If anyone can rescue her, it’s you.”

“You’re forgetting who’s the one that got me out of jail.”

Wyatt lifted his head, gaze finding Roman’s. He saw years and years of history there, playing back for him like a movie at triple the speed. They had so much that connected them, so many little inside jokes and warm memories, a lot of dark memories as well, all of it coming together to create an unshakeable foundation. It was exactly what Roman needed to feel confident in himself that his plan would work.

He’d have to shake away the anxieties and fears, at least for tonight. There was nothing further they could do until they all met in—only five hours now. Damn, the night was flying by quicker than Roman had guessed.

Five hours and everything would kick off, their most crucial heist ever.

Until then, Roman decided he would enjoy the night, and he would do so with the handsome (and hard) boy sitting on his lap.

Roman kissed his Salt. Soft at first, tasting his skin, loving the slowness behind the kiss. Lips against lips. That was all. Gentle. It warmed the inside of Roman’s chest, the sensation spreading through his veins, warming the rest of him. He kicked his hips up, rubbing himself on Wyatt’s ass, enjoying the pressure of his firm cheeks, their bare thighs touching, only a tightening set of black briefs and a loose pair of boxers separating them from each other.

Soon, the soft and sweet burned away, turning into hard and hungry. He grabbed Wyatt by the back of the head and began to direct the kiss, tilting him to the side, Roman’s tongue slipping between Wyatt’s lips. He tasted like coffee and sex, intoxicating. Roman was a starved vampire who’d just gotten their first taste of fresh blood. Warm, addictive. He wanted more. All of it.

Roman lifted Wyatt’s shirt over his head and tossed it to the side. He looked down, seeing that Wyatt’s boxers had apparently given up on their job. His cock slipped out, pulsing, stiff as a rod in the air. He took off his own shirt and pressed their bodies together, sucking on Wyatt’s nipples while the moaning boy’s cock twitched against his belly. He could feel a streak of wetness where Wyatt’s precome leaked from his tip, making them both wet.

“Look at that,” Roman said, running a hand up and down Wyatt’s length, stopping with his thumb over the tip. “Look at how wet you are.”

Roman lifted his thumb, a string of clear precome attached to him. He brought it up to Wyatt’s lips, pushing in and kissing him at the same time so they could both have a taste.
