Roman smiled and felt quite reassured by Wyatt’s earnest words. He kicked out a leg and rubbed his foot against Wyatt’s, relishing in the skin-to-skin contact. Every inch of it. “I trust you, and I trust what in what you’re saying. I may not be best friends with Theo right off the bat, but I feel a lot better about him joining us now.”

“And he can help us, probably more than I could. If you thought I was good with computers, then you’ve seen nothing yet. That guy is a cyber savant.”

“We do need all the help we can get on this one,” Roman said. He rolled over so that he could put an arm around Wyatt, pulling him in. Their cocks pressed together, hardening all over again. “I’m determined to make sure we get what we want this time.”

“Do you think Leonidas knows you’re out already?”

“Oh, I’ve got no doubt. He’s got eyes everywhere. He’s going to start hunting us all over again.”

Wyatt huffed out a breath. He gently rocked his hips forward, rubbing himself gently against Roman, his still-wet tip leaking into Roman’s pubes. “That’s fine. Let him. We’re ready for him this time.”

“Damn, where’d all this confidence come from, Salt?”

Wyatt grinned, his smile lighting up the dark room as if he’d stuck a lightbulb between his teeth. “Guess it came from successfully leading a crew of bandits on a mission to break two of our own out of prison.”

“That would probably do it, huh?”

“Yup,” Wyatt said, the two men laughing at the wild situation they’d been faced with. Laughing because they were finally back together, finally happy. It made the laughter come easy—along with other things.

“I’m so fucking proud of you,” Roman said, throwing a leg over Wyatt’s and encasing him underneath his arms and legs, creating a cage of firm muscle. He kissed the smiling man, lips fitting perfectly together. Same as their bodies, every curve and crevice finding a matching spot to fit against.

“I’m pretty fucking proud of myself, too, if I’m being honest.”

“And you should be! What you did not only takes an extreme amount of intelligence, but it also takes guts. Especially under the pressure cooker we were all locked inside of. You did it, though. You pulled it off. You broke us out of prison, and you’re the reason why I get to do this right now.”

Roman reached between them and grabbed both hard lengths in his hand, closing his grip and stroking before he leaned in for another kiss. The Lana Del Rey album that had been playing on the record player had long ended, replaced by the sound of crickets drifting in through the open window.

And soon that would be replaced, too, by the sound of their sex, the both of them already up for round two.

“How do you do it, Roman?”

“What? Jerk you off?”

Wyatt rolled his eyes, another laugh slipping from his lips.

“It’s pretty easy. I just go like this—”

“No, I mean how do you make it look so easy? You never blink, never waver. Your shoulders definitely never shake, and you always have a plan B, even when the five previous plan Bs all went up in flames. How do you do it?”

Roman couldn’t find an answer for him. Nothing that would be satisfying, at least. He could make a few educated guesses: his strong mom, his confident dad, his give-no-fucks upbringing. If he really thought about it, though, it seemed to boil down to one thing.

“I just believe in myself. Even when other people don’t. As long as I hold on to that belief, in whatever it is, then that’s all that matters. Don’t give others power to make you feel less than or inferior. That’s when the doubts set in and eat away at any leadership abilities you might have.” Roman shrugged, leaning down to suck on Wyatt’s neck. “At least, that’s what I think,” he said as Wyatt began to squirm underneath him.

“It makes— ohhh, that feels good. It makes sense. God, Roman, fuck, that feels really good.”

Roman licked his way down Wyatt’s throat, kissing his chest, sucking a pebbled nipple between his teeth. He flicked his tongue across it, smiling up at Wyatt as he began to push his hips up harder than before, pressing their hard cocks together.

“So what did we learn today?” Roman asked as he moved lower, grabbing Wyatt by the base of his cock and wrapping his lips around the head.

“That we—oh God—that we’re all valuable and to—fuck. And to not do drugs? Was that a lesson? The Pythagorean theorem? I don’t know, man, just keep sucking my dick.”

Roman laughed, his mouth full of Wyatt. He did just as Wyatt asked, sucking him down to the hilt, gagging on Wyatt’s length, the both of them forgetting all about any life lessons they may have picked up and instead focusing all their attention on giving each other as much pleasure as possible.
