Even though part of me wants to hide at his words, I smile instead. This is what happens between a husband and a wife, I'm realizing. And he's taking care with me to make sure I enjoy it. That I have pleasure. And oh, by Belara, was that pleasure. It was pleasure so great that for a moment, I lost control of my body. No wonder the books always mention such things when they speak of romance and love.

I've just met Agakor, but if he can make me feel like that, I can see falling in love easily.

I turn toward him, turning so I tuck myself against his chest. "Did I please you?"

"Beyond words."

I smile into his chest, and when he strokes my hair, I feel so, so good. Amazingly good. It's incredible, really. All the tension I've felt over the last few days has drained out of me, and my legs feel as soft and boneless as uncooked dough. He rubs my back, and as I lie there, I become vaguely aware of something hard pressing against my leg.

It's him. His cock. It's erect and stabbing, even through his pants. And realizing how aroused he is makes me want to do something about it. I want to make him feel as good as he made me feel. "What about you?" I ask. "Can I touch you and make you burst?"

From across the room, someone clears their throat.

Turnip. She's listening in. My face heats immediately and I want the floor to swallow me up.

Agakor goes still at Turnip's reminder, too. He chuckles, stroking my hair again. "Not tonight, love. Tonight is all about you. That's how the ceremony works."

"I see." A smile touches my lips when he rubs his hand down my thigh. They're enormous, his hands. Not just from his orc heritage, I think. HIs mother must have been a large woman as well, because Agakor stands a head taller than all his men, orc or human. He's big enough that he makes me feel positively dainty in his arms, and I try to imagine him with someone as small and fragile as my sisters and I can't. He said he wanted someone tall that he wouldn't break…and I definitely fit that bill. I snuggle closer to him, pleased. "So…what now?"

He chuckles again, rubbing my thigh. "Love, that was just the warm-up. I haven't tasted you yet. Once you've caught your breath, we'll begin again."

I get to do that again? That incredibly confusing, delicious tensing that builds until everything inside me bursts and leaves me sated? I'm excited. "I'm ready now."

Agakor grins down at me. "My little maiden's eager for more? That pleases me."

CHAPTER 11

AGAKOR

Iolanthe is shy, just like any sheltered virgin would be. I know that, and yet when she gives me an eager look and says she's ready to go again, my heart swells with pride and affection. I knew this lovely little human would be the perfect wife for me the moment she petted my cock and looked upon it with such interest, instead of skittering away like the virgin she is. She might be sheltered, but she's curious and eager, and those are the best traits in a new bride, I decide.

She's no longer scared. Her face is flushed, her eyes glazed from the pleasure I just gave her as she rocked against my greased-up hand. Just a short time ago she was timid and worried, but now that I've shown her what can happen, she looks dreamy and sweet, and when I settle my hips between her thighs, she obediently hikes her skirts and spreads them wider for me, showing me her pale flesh, gleaming with the oil I've rubbed into her skin. The curls that hide her pretty cunt are wet with both oil and her release, and my mouth waters at the sight.

I rest my hands on her hips and when she looks at me with dark, trusting eyes, I hike her higher on the bed, just enough that she's not on the edge, her legs dangling over. Now she's fully on the bed, enough that her heels can dig into the mattress—or my back, if she wants to throw them over my shoulders. I lean in, resting my elbows on the bed, and slide my arms under her thighs, spreading them apart and settling my bulk between them. "I'll go slow," I promise her. "So there won't be any surprises."

"I trust you, Agakor."

Such a sweet thing, to hear those words. I even love the shy, wondrous tone she says them in. Gods, if Lord Purnav knew what a prize he was giving me, I'd have had to pay him twice as much for her hand…and I'd have willingly done so. Iolanthe is sheer perfection in a bride. No man—human or orc—is luckier than me.
