“I think you’re good.” Keene winced, brushing glitter off of his face and chest.
He looked like he’d rolled in it.
He’d had to do all of the upper ornaments, causing him to be covered in the stuff.
The rest of us were fairly covered in it, but not nearly to the extent he was.
He even had it in his beard.
“Hey, Keene,” Hades called.
Keene looked at her just as she snapped a photo.
He growled something under his breath.
“Oh, boy.” Hades laughed. “The ladies are going to love this one.”
They were right.
Standing in jeans, a t-shirt, and barefoot, covered in glitter and in front of the newly decorated Christmas tree… the ladies ate it up.
He got a hundred-thousand likes in an hour.
And every single person asked for a photo with him when they came to visit during the month of December.
No one mentioned how awful the top of the tree looked though.
We had to get him to do it again next year, after all.
