“What was that about?” Lila asks and Saint looks at me
“How about I take you out for breakfast,” he says and I smile cupping his face and kissing his lips
“I’d like that,” he lifts me up over his shoulder slapping my ass making me squeal.

Saint
Fuck, havin’ my women back home, feels so fuckin’ good. After we got back from breakfast, Maria gave me a call to tell me that Zoey’s jacket was finally ready and I couldn’t wait to give it to her, so every fucker knew she was my women.
As I walked into the shop the loud bell above the door rings and a curvy little woman with dark brown hair and the greyest eyes, big tits skinny waist and gorgeous hips stands behind the counter “Mornin’ darlin’ is Maria in” I ask her and she nods going back through a door, and a minute later Maria and the women come back out Maria holding a box
“That's it,” I ask her and she nods
“It is indeed” she opens the box and the small leather vest with Property of Saint in bold letters with the Devils emblem in the middle
“It’s perfect,” I tell her and she smiles
“Glad you like it; you boys bring me a lot of business”
“That’s because your good darlin’, so who’s this?” I motion to the girl and Maria smiles
“This is my niece Mia”
“Your niece” I say surprised, the woman look nothing alike
“I know we don’t look related, Mia takes from her father’s side”
“Well, he had good genes your gorgeous darlin’ you should come to the clubhouse one night”
“Not even a chance in hell, my Mia is too innocent for the likes of you guys” Maria says and I laugh
“That's so”
“Yeah, that’s so, keep your eyes off of her,” she tells me and I smile
“You saying we’re a bad influence?”
“I know what men like you, think like; she stays far away from you lot” I laugh
“What? all us Devils make you feel uncomfortable.”
“Saint, all you Devils in one place does things to every woman that she wouldn’t normally do so know my niece is not going anywhere near any of you,” she tells me, and Mia blushes, and I laugh.

As I head back to the clubhouse, I pass a jewelry store and pull in, as I walk through the door the man behind the counter smiles “Good morning sir how may I help you” I look at the display cabinets
“Engagement rings.”
“Of course, do you have a budget in mind” I shake my head, and the man moves to the other end of the counter opening three draws and lifting three cushions full of rings “Do you have a style in mind.”
“Style”
“Yes, pair shaped cushion cut” I look at him confused “Why don’t you just look around and tell me what you like” I nod looking at all three cushions
“No, none of those”
“Do you have a carat in mind?”
“Carat”
“The size of the stone.”
“No”
“Why don’t you just browse and tell me when you find one” I walk up and down the glass cases when I see the perfect ring and stop
“That one,” I say, pointing to it and the guy smiles
“You have excellent taste; it’s a 1.71carat round cut halo engagement ring in 14K white gold the color grade is J, and the clarity of the ring is Sl1there are eight smaller diamonds of the same grade on each side of the ring, it’s quite a beautiful ring.”
“How much?”
“This ring is just under twelve thousand dollars” I look up at him
“I’ll take it,” the guy smile widens
“Perfect,” he cleans the ring, placing it in a black leather ring box and handing it to me in a bag
“The paperwork for the ring will be mailed to you”
“Paperwork”
“All diamonds have paperwork sir, for insurance purposes”
“Right, thanks” I stick the ring into my pocket and walk out (damn, I just bought an engagement ring) As I pull up to the clubhouse Jakes sitting outside his crutches resting on the table “Hey man, how ya feeling” I ask him
“Good,” he says, but I can see he’s down I sit next to him
“So, how are you really?” he looks at me shaking his head
“It should have been me,” he says and I notice tears in his eyes and I slap him on the back and he looks at me
“Dude, it could have happened to any of us”
“That old bastard,” he says grinding his jaw
“Don’t think about it, man”
“I can’t stop, I keep seeing Chance dead, it wakes me up at night man”
“Dude, you need to talk about it to someone,” he shakes his head
“No, I need to do something,” he gets up grabbing his crutches and I grab his arm
“Man don’t do anything stupid, talk to Razor or Nash they’ll help, fuck talk to any of us we’re here for you”
“I’m fine, everything will be fine, I’ll fix it” he says, walking off and I shake my head
