I wasn’t sure how she would feel about this. In the Naggian society, a husband and wife feed off each other—it’s a part of their marriage. But this would be a one-way street we were talking about and it didn’t seem fair to put that on Natalie.
But she surprised me by sitting up and putting her hand on her hip.
“It doesn’t matter where we live, there’s no way in hell you’re getting your blood from anyone but me,” she said firmly. “I mean it, Vik’tor—I know how sexual biting is in the Naggian society. If I ever catch you biting some other woman, I’m going to consider it cheating!”
I was taken aback at first, but I could see she had a point.
“You don’t mind me wanting to bite you all the time, then?” I asked uncertainly.
Natalie gave an incredulous laugh.

“I’d like that,” I said, smiling at her. Of course, we would probably have to settle down somewhere eventually, but the idea of traveling the galaxy with my new mate was a good one.
“We’ll have to go back to Earth first, though—just to let my family know I’m okay and introduce you,” Natalie told me. “That’s what I saw in my vision, so I’m assuming they’re going to be okay with you.” She frowned. “I just wonder who the blonde woman was?”
“Blonde woman?” I frowned. All the people I had seen in Natalie’s vision had the same smooth brown skin that she did and none of them had blonde hair.
“The one I saw in the vision before—when you were biting my thigh,” Natalie explained. “She was an Earth woman, like me and she was sitting on a golden throne. She’s the one who told me how we could get Bonded. She said I had to be, er, ‘pierced and penetrated,’” she added, giving me a look that was half embarrassed, half hot.
“Hmm, well whoever she is, I’d certainly like to thank her,” I murmured through our new link. I pulled her closer. “Let me know anytime you want to be ‘pierced and penetrated’ baby—I’m more than willing to help you out with that.”
