MILANA
“I think there is something wrong with me,” I tell Lauren the second I actually have a moment alone with her. Jay is always hovering nearby. It’s a bit adorable and also helpful. I almost nose-dived off the plane stairs, but Jay had his arm around my waist in a flash, making sure I didn’t take a tumble. But even though I love having him close by, I still need some girl time.
We checked into some posh hotel after we landed. I swear it was one of the only times I can remember Lauren and me being so quiet. We were too busy taking everything in. Jay got us a suite that was bigger than the plane, and if that wasn’t bougie enough, it was also connected to another suite where he’d put Lauren.
At least I think that’s the plan because he had her bags put in there, and mine in that giant master bedroom with his. This place is so dang fancy that there are even people in there unpacking our things. Jay is overseeing them, of course. I think I overheard him mutter something about underwear. Maybe he doesn’t want anyone touching his or something.
“Yeah, you think you’re in love.” Lauren’s words pull me from my thoughts. I open my mouth and close it.
“That wasn’t what I was going to say but…” I trail off. My mind goes back to the few times he called me love. He’s also called me his dirty whore and a greedy little girl. Who knew I would get so turned on by that?
“Then what?” Lauren falls back onto the bed dramatically. “It’s as good as the one on the plane.” She moves her arms and legs like she’s making a snow angel in the bedding. “Out with it before that shadow of yours pops up on us. I’m guessing this isn’t something you want him to hear.” She sits up, waiting for me to spill.
“He calls me his dirty whore,” I blurt out. Lauren's eyes widen for a moment before she’s flying out of the bed.
“I’ll kill him myself. I don’t care if we have to fly back in coach.”
“No!” I hiss, grabbing her by her arm before she can go murder Jay. I shouldn’t have led with that. I should have told her that I rather enjoy it first.
“I like it,” I whisper, my face flushing red. “He calls me love, too,” I add, not wanting to make Jay out to be some monster. I don’t know if he enjoys calling me those things or if he enjoys how my body responds when he does it.
“You like it.” She smirks, her anger fading away. I bite my lip and nod. “I should have known! It’s always the quiet ones,” she shakes her head, “that are the most kinky.”
“I didn’t know I liked it until it was happening and my body was reacting and…” I let out a hard breath. Even thinking about the orgasm Jay gave me fills me with pleasure.
“There is nothing wrong with you, Mila. You’ve got a kink, and he’s clearly willing to play that part for you.”
“Play?” My mind focuses on that one word. It’s the same thing I always tend to do. “Is that what we’re doing? He and I? Only having a bit of fun?” Lauren’s face softens. She knows me so well. That I’m not the type of girl who can do that without getting emotionally attached.
“I don’t know, honey, but be careful. You’re a marshmallow all over. There is not one piece of hard shell on you. Just sweetness all the way through.” She’s right. “But I’ve never seen a man stare at a woman the way Jay stares at you. I’ve also never known one to go through all this trouble to spend time with a woman he only wanted to have fun with. My only worry is that he thinks you belong to him.”
I drop my gaze from hers. “Maybe I want to belong to him,” I admit. Is that another kink I have? This list is growing rather quickly.
“Hey. Eyes up here,” she orders. Lauren is always the more grounded one. “All I mean is I don’t want you to end up like a toy he brings out to play with when he feels like it and then can put you away. You better get to own his giant ass right back.”
“You don’t think this is crazy?”
“Yeah,” she says without hesitation.
“Milana, love,” Jay calls.
“See, there’s that L word again,” I whisper before Jay appears in the doorway. I also really like it when he calls me by my full name for some reason.
“I was told you both might need clothes for the events, and I was asked if you wanted them brought here or if you prefer to go to a few places that have some items.”
