“No, he went back to his room,” Bear says, following behind me. Pink glances my way as I pass the bar. She gives me a smile before her eyes go to Bear and Rider. Her brows pull together. What the hell is going on?
“Both of you stop,” I snap. I’m a bit surprised when they actually listen to me and stop walking. I refuse to be pushed around by these two big men. I’ve lived with three intimidating men my whole life. I’m used to handling them. “I'll go by myself.”
“Pres wouldn't want you wandering around by yourself during a party,” Bear responds. That makes me feel fractionally better.
“Fine,” I give. They continue to follow after me.
The music fades away as I make my way down the long hallway. I don’t bother knocking when I get to Jason’s office. I know I probably should. He could be in a meeting with someone, but in my defense I’m not in the best mood.
My hand freezes when a small, feminine gasp comes from the other side of the door. My stomach drops at the sound.
“No,” I breathe out. Jason and I have never really put a label on what we are, but still. I’m going to kill him. I can’t believe this. I thought he was different. That we truly had something special between us.
“Don’t.” A hand comes down on top of mine over the knob when I start to turn it. “I don’t want to kill Arch because you saw his dick or something.” My head jerks around to face Jason. “Why do you always look so damn hot, babe?” A goofy smile forms on his face, and I realize he’s drunk.
“You good, Pres?” Bear asks him.
“I’m not going to beat on anyone else.” He answers him before he jerks his chin, letting them know to get lost.
“Who were you beating on?” I saw the marks on his knuckles. His hand is still on top of mine.
“Dumbasses.”
“More than one?” Jason shrugs. Another moan comes from inside his office. “Is that Vee in there with him because I’ll do more than see his dick. I’ll cut it off.” The smile drops from Jason’s face.
“It’s Vee, but you better not touch another man’s dick or we’re going to have problems.”
“We already have problems.” I pull my hand back.
“I agree. We do. You have too many clothes on.” He grabs me and tosses me over his shoulder before I can try to dodge him.
“Put me down.” I smack his ass as I try to wiggle around. I let out a scream when his hand lands on top of mine.
“Still, you’ll hurt yourself.”
“I’m mad at you. I’m not losing my clothes.”
“I’m pleased as fuck with you.” He enters his room, kicking the door closed behind him. “I was going to give you tonight but you came to me.” He pulls, letting me slip down his body until my feet hit the floor.
“You told me to go home.”
“Wasn't going to fight out in the street with your dad about us. I have more respect for him and us than that. Even if it did kill me to tell you to go home because your home should be with me.” I open my mouth to say something but close it again. I tried one more time, but his words have taken me by surprise.
“You want me to live with you?”
“Want more than that. A ring on your finger and a few kids.”
“Jason.” I gasp. My head is spinning. We haven't even had sex. Not to mention he’s drunk.
“Right now I want you naked with my mouth on your pussy.” He digs his fingers into my hair to tilt my head back and claim my mouth.
That’s not the only thing he claims. He took my heart too.

“Fuck.” I sit up when I don’t find Olivia in bed next to me. I blame the liquor. I can’t remember the last time I drank that much. I thought a few drinks would ensure that I kept my ass home for the night and not make things worse by driving over to her house and pulling her out. I knew I didn’t need to give her old man another reason not to like me.
My ass would have ended up in jail or in a fight with her father. That’s the last thing I’d ever want. I was trying to lock Olivia down to me. Not send her running for the hills.
I grab a pair of jeans, pulling them on to go in search of her. I see her purse on the floor along with her clothes, so I know she’s still here. Where the hell had she gone? I suppose she could have changed into some of the clothes she’s brought over before.
I open her purse to see her keys and dead phone inside. I pull her phone out and put it on the charger. I’ve never seen a girl more careless with her phone in my life. It drives me insane.
