It’s been a long three months, but finally, it’s done.

“Your mama is a writer,” I whisper as I rub my little baby bump. It’s small, but it’s growing every day.

I pick up my glass of non-alcoholic wine and toast my laptop with a smile.

This is book one in a new series featuring my possessive hero, Owen Belliston. I think it’s going to be a big hit with all my new readers.

I take a sip of the non-alcoholic wine (which is not nearly as good as real wine) and look around my new office with a deep feeling of gratitude seeping into my soul. It’s beautiful. I love it. The fire is roaring in the fireplace, giving the room a toasty warm feel. It’s the perfect room to get lost in my imagination for hours on end.

After packing up my apartment at the beginning of our relationship, I returned to Oliver’s log cabin and found this wonderful surprise. This amazing man emptied the room for me, painted the walls, constructed bookshelves, and bought me this huge, antique, heavy desk. I was in love.

This room is perfect. It has so much room for my books, and it’s quiet and peaceful. I love to sit at the desk and gaze out the window at the stunning view of the mountains, or watch Henry stalking his prey under the maple trees. He never catches anything, bless his soul, but he tries.

I’ve been so productive, but I don’t think that’s just because of my new office.

Oliver is one hell of a muse. He’s been an inspiration for my dirty-talking male characters.

Sometimes, I just transcribe his dirty talk word for word. A couple of times, I’ve even recorded him while he’s at it to listen to later. I might have to make him a co-author at this point.

After the videos and pictures of him shirtless in town promoting my books went viral, sales went through the roof. I got a huge wave of new readers and they’ve been amazing. They’ve been so enthusiastic about my books.

I set up another book signing for next weekend at Jada and Eleanor’s bookstore. Oliver agreed to do it again, and what’s even more amazing, is that his hottie brothers, Michael and Leo, also agreed to come!

I’m going to have three hot, shirtless, buff men outside driving traffic into the store. Jada and Eleanor ordered a thousand copies of my books this time, and it might not be enough.

I can’t wait!

Everything has been amazing. I love our little community of shifters here in the mountains. Michael and Leo are great, and I adore Leo’s mate, Tara. She’s the best.

She helps me brainstorm story ideas while we watch our men wandering around the valley in their bear forms. It’s surreal.

All we’re missing is a mate for Michael. He’s the oldest and last to find one. Hopefully, she’ll come along soon.

I smile as I close my laptop and take another sip of wine.

The first draft is finished, but the book is far from complete. The long editing process will start tomorrow, but tonight, I get to celebrate.

I stand up and stretch my arms, wondering what my man is up to.

It’s after midnight and the house is quiet. I hope he’s not sleeping…

I tiptoe down the hallway and peek into the baby’s room. I’m only three months pregnant, but Oliver already transformed the spare room into a nursery. He’s so excited. I am too, but I’m also a little bit worried about how big this baby will get. If my little one is anything like his father, I’m in for a rough delivery.

I run my hand over the new teddy bear Oliver bought and then continue into the living room. The TV is on with no sound and my giant man is sound asleep on the couch.

My other man, Henry, is curled up on Oliver’s chest, sound asleep too.

I shake my head and laugh quietly to myself as I look at my ridiculous cat. He’s always been so miserable. He’s always hated everyone, including me, but he is in love with Oliver. Go figure.

He’s always climbing on him and following him around. It’s adorable to watch. I wasn’t sure if he’d like this new log cabin in the mountains, but he loves it. There are a lot of high wooden beams running across the ceiling that he loves to perch on to watch us walk around, and he loves to explore the outdoors, although he never strays too far away.

My miserable old cat actually looks happy.

I think we were both missing Oliver in our lives.

My eyes settle on Oliver’s peaceful face and I start to get that tingling sensation crawling over my skin. He’s so beautiful. My body craves him. It yearns for him.

I don’t think I’ve gone one day without him inside me since that first magical night.
