“I was just wondering. I thought I saw that model at the Rolex store the other day. It’s really… imposing, if you know what I mean. With the thick metal and all.”

Zolt laughed, shaking his head at the bluntness of the flirting. “What’s your name?” He asked, letting his elbow slide over the sticky counter until it touched the other man’s hot forearm.

The guy smiled, eyes shining with interest. “Ivan. You?”

Could Ivan’s throat be where Zolt stifled his unwanted longing for Leo’s company and forget the impending betrayal of the Smokeys? It would all be on Leo in the end, because he’d abandoned his post and left the drugs with someone unworthy of trust.

But that wasn’t Zolt’s problem anymore.

“My name’s Suck-My-Dick-And-The-Rolex-Is-Yours’,” Zolt said before bursting into laughter. So he was a bit drunk, but once the Jackals handed him the money tomorrow, he might get himself a new watch to celebrate the big change in his life. One even chunkier and more expensive.

The sky was the limit.

Ivan’s eyelids lowered, but the alluring smile remained. “I see you know what you want, Suck-My-Dick-And-The-Rolex-Is-Yours.”

Zolt almost choked on his last few sips of liquor, laughing way harder than the joke merited, but once the glass was as empty as his head, he tore a couple of bills out of his wallet and left them on the counter before sliding off the bar stool with so much haste he rolled into Ivan’s arms.

“Yeah, yeah… let’s just go outside.”

This was what Zolt needed. Someone new and eager. Someone who was there to satisfy his needs without the complications of attachment. Someone who wouldn’t look at him with all the hope in the world after they fucked.

He grinned when Ivan pulled Zolt’s arm—the one with the Rolex—over his shoulder and walked him to the door. Now that he was standing, the alcohol in his veins hit him with force, and it passed through Zolt’s mind that maybe it hadn’t been such a good idea to drive. Then again, a pickup was easier to control when drunk than a motorbike, so he’d surely manage to get home in one piece. And if not? Well—he only lived once.

They zig-zagged into the back of the bar where they'd have raccoons rummaging through trash cans as company.

“Is here good?” Ivan whispered in the darkness, stroking Zolt’s side as he backed him against the cold wall.

The odor of piss and beer pushed at Zolt’s face, and when he opened his eyes, his gaze caught movement somewhere beyond two rusty vehicles parked in the back. With the lamps at the front of the building as the sole light source, he couldn’t quite see who it was, but it didn’t matter. So what if they had an audience. If the guy was up for it, he might as well come over and get a piece too.

Leo wouldn’t have condoned any of this, but he wasn’t around anymore.

“You as thick as that Rolex?” Ivan laughed and kissed Zolt’s neck, but instead of pleasure, the touch sent sparks of discomfort down Zolt's spine.

Ivan should have stuck to their impromptu arrangement—gotten to his knees and taken Zolt’s dick in. A tit for tat. What was the harm in wanting an experience that didn’t bring back the sense of heat Zolt had experienced only two nights back, when he’d woken up to Leo’s cock hardening against his backside, his arms tight around Zolt and soft lips trailing kisses over his nape and shoulders. Something that didn’t make his throat tighten for unexplainable reasons.

Ivan reached down and cupped Zolt’s cock through his pants, like a good boy, so why couldn’t Zolt focus on that and enjoy himself? Was it the smell of piss in the air or the endless rattling in the trash can nearby? The mood wasn’t right, despite Ivan being perfectly attractive and fuckable.

Or maybe it was just guilt.

Nobody had ever spoken to Zolt like Leo had. Not with so much honesty and vulnerability. Anger, aggression he could deal with, but the confrontation earlier left him choked up and with unreleased adrenaline buzzing in his veins so many hours later.

Maybe he should have just gotten drunk at home if he wanted to be alone, because it was becoming clear his dick wasn’t interested in any activity.

A push to Ivan’s chest should get the message across. “Changed my mind.”

The guy frowned. “What?”

Zolt rubbed his face, gravity calling to him as soon as he attempted to stand on his own, without the support of the wall. “You heard me. Not in the mood after all. Go suck someone else.”

“What the fuck is wrong with you, man?” Ivan pushed at his arm, and it was like hearing Leo all over again. “What about the Rolex?”

Zolt grunted, placing his hand on the wall to guide himself back to the front of the bar. “No service, no reward. Didn’t your mama teach you that?” he asked, forcing his body to move more steadily.
