His brothers couldn’t wait to interrogate Harrison, but his man would handle it with aplomb.
“They’re worried that I haven’t gone back to get my PhD yet. Think that has something to do with you and the fact that you’re going to school now.”
Harrison was getting his degree in museum administration and planned to work on archives. His interest in history had driven him to seek out the degree.
His whole life, he’d planned to be part of the final battle between pestilents and Weavers and had never expected to survive it. Now, they had a whole life ahead of them and he’d gone to school.
Hale would be in school soon enough, but the program he needed was an hour away, and he wasn’t ready to be that far from Harrison yet. He’d get around to it.
Right now, he was just happy to be with this man.
It also didn’t hurt that the Weavers had more money than they’d ever need, so he didn’t have to worry about an income yet. He’d been spending his days helping Dane renovate the house.
Oh, and learning to cook for a huge group.
He rolled over and wrapped his arms around Harrison. “How are you enjoying your classes?”
“They’re all pretty wonderful except one. The professor drives me nuts because he has this boring monotone voice that puts you to sleep.” Harrison started kissing his neck and Hale shivered.
“Are you ready to say your vows to me tomorrow with my whole family in attendance?”
Harrison pulled back to look at him. “I’m more than ready to be yours forever, and I’m glad your family all decided to come here to witness it.”
“I’m just glad they got hotels in town. We’re crowded enough here.”
“Are you thinking it’s time to move out on our own?”
Hale thought about it. A lot. Privacy would be nice. “I think I’d miss the others too much. I like this house and all the people in it. Why? Are you ready?”
“I’m happy wherever you are. But eventually, I think we can find a small place of our own in town, not too far away. We could still come for the dinners and gatherings.” He rolled over on top of Hale and slid between his legs. His dick was already hard, and Hale couldn’t help but smile as he wrapped his legs around Harrison.
“Last night was so good. You ready for a repeat?”
Harrison opened his mouth over Hale’s collarbone. “I’m always ready for a repeat with you.”
Hale heard voices in the hallway and grinned. “They’re going down for breakfast. Sure you don’t want to join them?”
“I just want you. I always want you.” Harrison thrust against him and groaned. “I love the days I don’t have class. Love waking with you and having this time to ourselves.”
Hale reached for the lube and handed it to Harrison. “Screw breakfast. We’ll scrounge later before my family gets here. I just want to feel you inside me now.”
“Fuck,” Harrison whispered as he took the lube and covered his fingers. He brought them to Hale’s hole and circled his pucker. “I love you so much.”
“I love you, too, Harrison. Now fuck me.”
As Harrison slid inside his body, Hale closed his eyes and relished the love they shared. He was excited to be saying his vows again with Harrison, excited to have his family coming to watch. But mostly, he was thrilled to know that he’d be spending his life with this amazing man.
“Ah, you feel so good, Hale,” Harrison murmured into his neck. “Take me so perfectly.” He began thrusting, and Hale gasped as Harrison’s cock hit his prostate. Harrison came up to slant his mouth over Hale’s and as they kissed, love swelled in Hale’s chest until he felt like he could fly.
He wrapped his arms around Harrison and just held on.
