“Alright. Who is your dad and how does he know all of this?” he chuckles and shakes his head before answering.
“My father is the Mayor.” Oh shit. The name didn’t click.
“Oh wow. Good to know.”
“So it looks like I am your new best friend.” This is better than I thought. “So, do you need anything?”
“As a matter of fact I do. I need to know everything.” Over the next hour, he gives me the info about the school and the movers and shakers. He is better than fucking google. By the time class is over, I know who I can blackmail when the time calls for it, who is weak, who has pull and who the fuck bitchboy really is. Turns out his father is best friends with my girl's dad and the president of the local town council as well as the town doctor. So not exactly nobody, but also not somebody.
The bell rings. When I make it to her class she is talking to a girl. She disappears around the corner before I can see her face.
“Everything ok, baby?” I ask, kissing the side of her head before grabbing her bag.
“Yes.” She says and nothing else.
“Who was that?”
“My sister Rayna.” Ah. I am definitely going to have to remember what she looks like.
“Gotcha. Alright, let's get to class.” We make it there with two minutes to spare and I pull her into a corner. Not exactly isolated, but close enough to be able to pin her to the corner wall. She looks up at me, gaze innocent and scared and I want to shield her from the rest of the world.
Both arms against the wall, I lean into her and she doesn’t move away, but she looks unsure. I am not going to address that. The best way for her to believe that it is real and happening is to show her and breed her. So, instead of words, I nip at her lips and suck the bottom one into my mouth.
Eagerly, she mewls into my mouth, her hands clutching her books. There's something erotic about not touching any other part of her. When her mouth opens more, I slide my tongue in for a second, not mauling her in the hallway, but I also need her to feel this and everyone once again to see it.
When she is no longer able to hold in her noises and her face is flushed enough, I pull back and kiss her a couple of times chastely, on her cheeks, eyes and forehead. Damn, how did this gift fall in my lap? “Let's go baby.” I lead her back to her class and stop at the doorway. “See you soon.” She grabs her bag from me and looks up, a question burning on her tongue.
“Why do you keep calling me that?”
Because you are mine.” In all ways if I have it my way.
CHAPTER 10
Thank God I am home. Today was intense. It was scary. It was tantalizing and it showed me how far from the path of righteousness I have strayed. “Rayna, before you leave please chop up the salad.” My mom calls to her as she changes clothes in our room.
“Are you going somewhere?” I ask her, putting on my house clothes.
“Yep.” She says not looking at me.
“Rayna.” I call her name accusatory and walk closer to her.
“Imogen.” She says before grabbing her bible bag. She turns to me and the look of guilt I almost miss but for the hug she pulls me into. I hug her back recognizing she needs it, but I wish I knew why.
“Rayna, is everything alright?” I can’t help feeling that something is wrong.
“Everything is more than alright, Imogen. I just want you to remember I love you. You are my twin and my best friend, but some things are better left unsaid. Just know that no matter what happens, this is my choice.” She walks out after saying that to me and I am more confused than ever.
I follow her down the stairs but it is too late to say anything to her about it, she is busy chopping and my job is to set the table.
“Rayna, do you have bible study or youth ministry class tonight?” My father asks from the living room.
“No father. Some of the kids from my bible class want to get together and determine how best to witness to those not in the church.” Her face flushes and she hides. This is the first inkling I have that she is doing something salacious.
“Excellent idea.” he says and goes back to working on his sermon for this Sunday. As the church pastor, one would think he would know about the classes and schedule but his associate pastors handle that.
“Mother, have you heard from Adriel?” I whisper in her ear as I grab the plates. She looks over her shoulder at my father, making sure he is preoccupied before answering.
