This is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

I flip the pillow over to get to the cold side before lying back down. That's when I realize I have no clothes on.

Naked.

I jolt up, holding the sheet close as I attempt to pinpoint my clothes in the room, remembering how Asher haphazardly threw them.

I never did get his secret out either.

The room is so dark I can't see a damn thing.

I gently pull the sheet off the bed and wrap it around myself. Then I slowly head to the bathroom, sliding my feet around the floor, hoping to hit something, preferably my underwear.

No such luck.

By the time I return Asher is sitting up, shirtless, with a side lamp on.

"Oh sorry, did I wake you?" I halt, adjusting the sheet to make sure I'm completely covered while trying not to stare at his chest.

It should be illegal for anyone to walk around with a body like that.

"What are you doing?" he laughs.

"Um, I was peeing?"

"No with the sheet," he rolls his eyes.

"Covering myself?"

"Why?"

I give him a look.

"I've already seen it all," he rolls his eyes. "Many times."

I open my mouth to respond but he stops me.

"Come back to bed and lose the sheet, Elle."

"Fine but close your eyes."

This time his face lights up like I said something funny. "Never."

"Then help me find my underwear."

"Drop the sheet." He grins, holding them up with one finger. "Then come and get them."

I bite my lip and slowly shake my head to hide my smile.

So that’s how it’s going to be.

We spend all day in. Asher in his pajamas, me in one of his t-shirts. I keep sticking the front over my nose because it smells like him.

It's not creepy if he sees me doing it.

At least that's what I tell myself.

We talk. Have sex. Order food. More sex. Talk some more. Sex again.

I think I end up having more orgasms in a day than I have had in my entire life thus far.

I don't know whether to be happy about it or if that just makes me pathetic.

At one point he disappears to make some calls. I borrow his laptop to catch up on work emails.

When he reappears he has this look.

Sex.

The lack of control on both our ends is kind of ridiculous. We actually make it into the bedroom this time. Doze off afterwards too.

The next time I open my eyes the room is that perfect shade of dusk. He rolls onto me and lets out a deep sigh.

It's strange... how he views my house as home, but for me, my home is wherever he is.

The realization is surprising but not shocking.

He hesitates, like he wants to say something.

"What?" I prod.

"You know we'll never be over, right?"

I smile wide.

I think I'm really starting to get that now.

The night before I'm set to leave Asher tells me to get dressed because he has a surprise.

It's an odd request considering its been days since I put on any actual clothes. If you don't count yesterday when I got into a bathing suit and spent an hour by the pool while Asher had stuff to do.

I slide into my jeans, which feel tight after being without them for so long. I didn't miss them either. I really liked being lazy with Asher.

Then we get into a car, separately.

He still won't tell me where we're going.

"Just a hint?"

"You really can't wait another few minutes?"

"No."

He laughs.

"How bad of a host would I be if I didn't show you at least some of LA?" He smirks.

"The Hollywood sign?" I gasp. "Are you taking me to the Hollywood sign?"

I must have joked about it a thousand times.

"Maybe," he shrugs.

"How?"

"I may have called in a few favors."

I can’t stop smiling.

Until we get out of the car. There's a ton of people.

Asher's people.

And Brad, which is fine. I'm not upset about Brad. Actually I'm excited to see him. We hug and briefly catch up, until all those people narrow in.

"If anyone asks you're with him." A lady says, pointing to Brad.

"This is Regina, one of my publicists." Asher appears next to me.

"Hi," I wave.

She briefly looks up from her phone. "I've heard a lot about you. I hope you're worth all the trouble you've caused."

Trouble?

I look over at Asher, but he's busy talking to a different group that just arrived.

"She doesn't mean it like that," Brad interjects, but Regina just shrugs before walking away.

"Who are all these people?"

"Well you know Tiny, and Mona," I look up just as she gets out of a car. Ugh. "They're publicists, agents, lawyers, managers, you know, the people who work for him."

"Yeah, but why are they here?"

"He wanted to take you out," Brad shrugs. "I guess this is how he got to do it."

I don't understand. Unfortunately before I have the chance to ask anything more Asher appears. "Ready?"
