“Morning fellas,” I mutter under my breath, my face burning from embarrassment. I don’t even try to look them in the face, instead choosing to keep my focus mostly on their knees. That seems less intimidating.
“Morning,” one of them says, his voice full of laugher.
I scrunch my left eye closed and peek through the right one and venture my gaze upward—because these guys really are as tall as mountains. I quickly avert my gaze however when I discover it’s the guy who watched me come through the mirrored panel of the elevator. I panic, embarrassment flooding through me.
“I…uh…will just be going.” I walk quickly to the elevator only to curse under my breath because there’s no up or down button—just a giant keypad. Damn it!
“Um… guys?” I ask, forcing myself to turn and look at them. The peeping tom—who really isn’t that I guess since I gave him a free show—does laugh now. That’s annoying, but at least he does it while walking over to me. He punches in some numbers. I give him a thanks under my breath, stepping inside as soon as the doors open.
“You’re welcome, babe,” he says, and I keep staring at my shoes, trying not to cringe when he calls me babe. For some reason, that just feels wrong.
The elevator ride to the lobby seems to take a hundred years. I make a beeline for the concierge to pick up my key to the hotel locker where I stored my stuff last night. I don’t have much in my duffle bag, but it is all I have in the world at the moment. I really want to change, but I don’t. I need to get far away from my father. I’ll clean up once I get some distance from this place—the more the better.
There’s not one thing I’m going to miss here, except maybe the Italian-American sex god from last night, but then he was never mine to keep.

You know it’s going to be a good day when you have to reach down and stretch your cock because he’s achingly hard and needing more of the honey you got a sample of the night before. I keep my eyes closed, too damn worn out from fucking Lina seven ways to Sunday to be bothered to open them. Instead, I flip on my side and reach out for her, intent on doing nothing more than pulling her onto my cock and fucking her sweet and slow. I had her over and over last night, but I didn’t miss the way she lit up when we fucked slow and hard, looking at one another. Just the memory makes my balls ache. She was so fucking beautiful taking my cock…
All thought stops when I reach out into empty space. I curl upwards, planting an elbow into the mattress to support my weight. My eyes shoot open without thought now, not quite believing she’s not here in this bed with me. It’s true, though. The bed is empty.
“Motherfucking son of a bitch! Lina, your pretty ass better be in the shower and getting ready for another round,” I growl loudly. I jump up, anger starting to seethe inside of me. I go straight to the ensuite, but it’s empty. “Lina! Where the hell are you?” I grab last night’s pants, then hobble and jump into them.
“Boss, everything okay in here?” Zane asks as he and Levi come bursting in. I look at the clock in front of me and frown.
“What are you guys doing on duty? It’s almost one. Your replacements should have clocked in around seven this morning,” I growl, walking over to the phone.
“We stayed on. Zane was hoping your piece of candy from last night would show up,” Levi replies.
“Lina?” I ask, biting out her name as I look at the man I’ve entrusted with my life more times than I care to count. Right now, all I want to do is to stomp him into the fucking ground.
“Only after you’re through with her of course, Boss,” Zane answers, proving his entire brain can’t be made of shit because he’s at least sensing he is in danger.
And he fucking is.
“Lina’s off limits. Fuck, while we’re on the topic, never put your dick where mine has been,” I snap. “Now, where is she?”
“Boss, she left this morning.”
“Gee, Levi, did you think I haven’t fucking figured that out? I’m asking where you dropped her off at.”
“I… uh…”
I shoot him an angry look. “Spit it out,” I snarl.
“Boss, what he’s wanting to tell you is that we didn’t take her anywhere. We just opened the elevator for her.”
“What?”
“Well, she was leaving,” Zane adds. “You never want one of your hookups to stay around.”
“You should have driven her instead of leaving her alone.” Even as I’m saying it, I know I sound insane. I don’t really give a damn. If they had driven her home, I’d at least know where to find her.
