Sacha had been working on helping her as well. Partly by opening himself up more.

After she’d pushed past her panic at leaving the estate, Colm had taken her out for dinner, the movies, ice skating, and even dancing. The man had some killer moves—as long as it didn’t involve twerking.

What he hadn’t done was fuck her.

Hell, he hadn’t done more than kiss her and feel her up. Tonight, she was determined to change that.

Aleksandr was out. It was just the two of them, along with probably half a dozen of Sacha’s men. But they were outside.

They were in the cinema room. There were no windows. No one else was close by, and Sofia was determined that she wasn’t going to get herself off with one of her toys tonight.

Toys that she hadn’t owned until she and Colm had started this whole dating thing.

Which was why she wasn’t wearing panties.

His hand stilled as he found out her secret.

“What do we have here?” he murmured. His movements were hidden under the blanket they had over them.

She couldn’t believe all the changes in her life. Some things had been devastating, like Arseni’s betrayal.

And being kidnapped twice, which had given her a whole set of new nightmares.

But at least she’d been able to tell Rogan who killed Callahan’s father and Miller how her mom had helped her that night.

Although she had a feeling that might have been what led to her death. If Iker had found out that Miller’s mom had seen her father kill Callahan’s father . . . yeah, that was why she’d been murdered.

And, with the help of a therapist, Sofia could start to put that nightmare to rest. The therapist was likely supposed to report some of the things she’d told her to the authorities, but Sacha must have been paying her to keep quiet.

Callahan’s death had caused some issues with the Fuerte cartel. Apparently, Callahan had a cousin who was important to the cartel in some way. The cartel hadn’t been happy that Callahan was killed. But Rogan and Sacha had handled it, soothing things over. Sacha was still determined to find out who Rafe had been working for. But he’d told her not to concern herself.

She was still worried, though.

However, she was trying not to take everything on herself.

She had enough to worry about with her own therapy and the physiotherapist that Colm had found to help her with her back.

“Someone is being a bit naughty,” Colm muttered.

“Not naughty,” she told him. “Desperate.”

“Desperate?”

“Please don’t make me have to get myself off with my vibrator again,” she begged.

Colm let out a surprised laugh. “Baby, why didn’t you tell me you needed me?”

“I don’t know. It’s hard to just blurt that out, so I thought I would show you. I was almost starting to worry you didn’t want me.”

He ran his finger through her slick lips. “Not want you? Sure, that’s why I’ve been having cold showers every night and jerking off several times a day.”

“You have?” she whispered. “Then why didn’t you . . .”

“I was trying to be a gentleman.”

“Why? That doesn’t suit you.”

“Brat!” He lightly slapped her pussy and she sucked in a breath. “I was going slow because I knew you needed that after Oleg. I never want you to fear me, Sofia. The night I found out he’d been abusing you . . . when I reached for you and you shied away from me, I thought my heart might break.”

“Is that why you left me?” she asked. “You weren’t disgusted by me?”

“Sofia Anisimov, you’re in deep trouble for that,” he growled. “I could never be disgusted by you and you know it. Are you asking for a spanking?”

She squirmed in the chair.

“Hmm. Seems you are.” He settled back and then tugged off the blanket before lifting her over his lap.

Face down.

This wasn’t what she wanted at all.

Isn’t it?

The skirt went up, but then he paused and took a deep breath.

“Fuck, baby. I shouldn’t be doing this, should I? I don’t want you to confuse him and me.”

What? She would never do that. And as he tried to turn her over, she realized this was exactly what she needed.

To feel normal.

“No!” she cried.

“No? Shit. I’m so sorry.” He sat her up.

“I mean, no, I don’t want you to stop. I want to try this. I trust you. I know you’ll stop if I tell you to. Please.”

“You sure, Mo Chridhe?” he murmured.

“So sure. If I need to stop, I’ll say Red.”

Leaning in, he kissed her. She moaned, relaxing in his arms as arousal filled her.

He was so good at that.

“My precious, brave girl.” He moved her so she was back in position, raising her skirt up again. “And you have the best fucking ass I’ve ever seen.”

He suddenly slapped his hand down on her butt cheeks.
