The short walk across the room feels like the longest path I’ve ever taken. When we reach Roman and Marcus, Levi tells me to stop, putting me right in the center as Levi drops down into the opposite couch, boxing us into a private little area. “Do … you need something?” I ask, eyeing the way that little miss popular presses her body into Roman’s side and rests her hand possessively against his knee.
The woman raises her chin, and as the light hits her face, I can’t help but notice how damn beautiful she is. She must only be in her twenties. My guess would be that she’s close to Roman’s age, but the depth in her eyes tells me that she’s been through some shit. “Do a turn,” she purrs, captivating me with her dark painted lips. “Let me see you.”
My brows furrow and my gaze flicks to Roman’s. “Umm … what?”
“She asked you to turn for her,” Roman says, his tone low and filled with the kind of authority that makes me want to throat punch him. “Turn.”
I swallow hard and look back at the woman before slowly starting to turn. I feel her eyes dragging over my body, studying every curve and imperfection. “She’s skinny,” she murmurs like an insult. “Nice ass though. I want to see her bare.”
I quickly finish spinning, turning the rest of the way. “Excuse me?” I rush out, my eyes bugging out of my head. “I’m not about to strip down for you. Who are you anyway?”
Her lips purse into a tight line as her taloned fingernail drags over her red lips. “I thought you’d have her trained better by now,” she sighs. “Your father is going to be disappointed.”
Roman scoffs. “She has an issue with authority,” he tells me, eyeing me menacingly, a silent demand to shut the fuck up and do what I’ve been asked before he does it for me.
I let out a sigh and glance around the room. There are still people everywhere, not nearly as many as there were a few hours into the party, but the ones who remain are well and truly fucked up now. Besides, there’s been enough nudity here tonight that no one is going to look twice at my body, especially when the other women in the room have so much more to offer.
The room is still dark enough, and that’s about all the privacy I’m going to get, so I suck it up and reach behind me, feeling Marcus’ gaze on my ass. I unclasp my bra and the black flimsy material drops to the ground at my feet, and before I allow myself the chance to feel humiliated by my nudity, I hook my thumbs into the sides of my thong and slowly drag it down my legs, knowing exactly what Marcus can see.
Looking back at the strange woman who somehow has her claws into these guys, I take a step toward the small coffee table between their couches. I prop my stilettoed boot up onto the table and my fingers fall to the zipper. Slowly, I begin unzipping the thigh-high boot, getting the zipper to my knee before the woman shakes her head. “No, leave them on,” she tells me, her eyes becoming hooded as her gaze sweeps over my body in hunger.
“Mmmm, a damn good choice,” Marcus says from his prime position behind me as I try with everything that I have not to meet Roman’s eyes, though I feel his heavy stare on my body. If he likes what he sees, he sure as hell isn't showing it, but damn, his rejection would hurt.
The woman’s hungry gaze remains on my body as she points to the coffee table. “Sit.”
I swallow hard and step around the table, hating how much closer it puts me to her and Roman, but I do as I’m told and drop my ass onto the edge of the table, nervously keeping my gaze on her.
“Open.” My back stiffens and my eyes widen, but her insistent nod has me slowly peeling my knees apart. “That’s right. Lean back on your hands and show me what you have.”
Her sultry confidence somehow puts me at ease, and although I feel Roman’s gaze dropping right to my pussy, I kinda like it. Hunger settles into both of their eyes and the woman licks her lips. “Marcus tells me that you’ve never been with a woman.”
My eyes bug out of my head, more than ready to nail Marcus in the junk. I shake my head. “No, that’s not what I—”
The woman flinches, her sharp stare snapping straight back up to mine. “You’re not calling Marcus a liar, are you?” she asks, her tone filled with the most dangerous kind of vindictive venom.
I pull up, slowly shaking my head. “I—”
