“I can’t believe you guys did this,” she blubbered, staring down at it and fingering the leather.
Hawke stepped forward and drew her into his arms. “You’re ours, doll,” he told her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. “And now, every time you step outside of these clubhouse gates, the world will know, too. Because you’ll be wearing that cut.”
She clung to him as she cried her pretty heart out. Then, Hawke released her and cupped her face in his hands, pressing a kiss to the tip of her red nose. “We love you, doll. We love you so fucking much. I don’t think you realize you have a small army of men who would die for you. Who love you so fucking much, that I’m not sure any of us could ever live without you.”
“I love all of you, too,” she croaked. And fuck, we knew she did. Just as we knew the capacity of her love could not be contained to three simple words.
He pressed a kiss to her forehead, and then I tugged her into my arms. Kissing her cheeks, I tasted the saltiness of her tears. “Do you know how beautiful you are when you cry?” I roughly asked her.
She giggled and sniffled, shaking her head. Smokey stepped forward and gently swiped some of her tears away. The others were keeping a wide birth. It was a bit amusing. They were so bad when it came to her tears. Tank was alright, but if he didn’t have to deal with it, he was happy to allow someone else to.
“You’re always beautiful, but when you’re this happy that you cry,” Smokey quietly told her, “you’re almost too fucking stunning to look at.”
She hugged him next, her tears slowing, and finally, everyone else stepped forward, Tank crushing all of us once he got his arms around us. And when Capone joined in, I almost couldn’t breathe.
“Suffocating,” Brewer choked out from beneath Tank’s broad chest.
I snickered and then choked when Tank and Capone squeezed harder. But the lack of oxygen was worth hearing our woman laugh in the middle of all of us.
