He thrusts a few more times before finally filling me.
“Thank you, husband. I really, really needed that.”
“It is my absolute pleasure to please you, wife.”
Our life hasn’t been perfect, but it’s been close. My parents moved here after a while and retired with the help of Kalera and me along with our amazing husbands.
We came here ten years ago looking to college be we all, Narina, Kaylee, Gwen, Kalera, and I found everything we didn’t know we needed. Fair Verona ran successfully for eighteen months before it began touring. I ended my run and won a Tony Award. I moved into a television drama and several movies, never forgetting that I have my babies and an amazing husband at home. All the Emmys, Golden Globes, Oscar’s, and a few more Tony’s don’t mean anything. Not when I have this amazing beside me and the family we’ve made.
He stood by my side at premieres, on red carpets, held my clutch while I got interviewed. Never said anything about the roles I chose to accept, he supported me, no questions asked. I don’t know what I did to deserve him, but I am glad that I did it.
We met under crazy circumstances and fell in love so fast, no one thought we would last, but nothing and no one will ever break us.
That’s the thing with love, it’s unconditional and everlasting.
