“Really? I just have to answer six questions?”
“Yuppers!”
“What about pictures?”
“Oh, I already handled those.” She waved her hand dismissively as she stood up. “I let them each have a few minutes up front while you were on stage. They were able to get great shots. And I promised to e-mail them some candid”—she raised her fingers in an air-quote gesture—“pics later. Bill said he has some that’ll work.”
“Okay,” Jeremy said.
“Super! So are we good for me to bring them in?”
He nodded. Becky smiled, turned around, and bounced toward the door.
“Be back in a jiffy!”
“What the hell was that?” Jeremy said as he looked at Reg wide-eyed.
“I know. Isn’t she awesome? I love her already. Seriously. If I dug chicks, we’d have to make room in our bed for—ow!” Reg rubbed his shoulder. “You punched me!”
“There is no more room in our bed!” Jeremy snapped.
Reg’s eyes warmed. “Aww, my superstar’s jealous.”
“Talking to me like I’m two isn’t helping, Mr. Room In Our Bed.”
“It was a joke,” Reg said with a chuckle. He tugged Jeremy closer. “Promise, JJ.” He kissed the tip of Jeremey’s nose and then nuzzled his neck. “Just a joke.”
Jeremy huffed.
“In all seriousness, though. Becky was first in her class at Stanford and Harvard. Her time at the advertising firm is code for being the mastermind of those dancing-cat commercials. Remember them from, like, five years ago?”
“That was her?”
“Yup. And the dot-coms she’s talking about blew up NASDAQ when they went public. Every single one of them.”
“How do you know all this?”
“The google-fu is strong with me,” Reg said in what Jeremy assumed was meant to be a Star Wars voice. It sounded like nothing of the sort.
“Wow. You’re a dork, and she’s brilliant.” Jeremy looked at the door. “I wouldn’t have thought it from the way she acts.”
“I guess when you’re that smart, you don’t have to put on airs. She’s confident enough to let her skill speak for itself.”
They didn’t get to talk more after that, because Becky returned with three reporters in tow. She had them in a single file line, told them where to sit, monitored their questions, and, with a bob of her ponytail, politely yet firmly kicked them out of the room as soon as their six questions were up. It was amazing.
“You were right,” Jeremy said, staring at the closed door Becky had just flounced out of after blowing them air kisses. “I think I’m in love. Ow!” He scowled at Reg. “You punched me!”
Chapter 16
“YOU WERE awesome tonight,” Reg whispered into Jeremy’s ear as he pressed him up against the bathroom wall in their London hotel.
“You always say that.” Jeremy placed his hands on Reg’s chest and leaned up, begging for a kiss.
“That’s because it’s always true.” Reg slanted his mouth over Jeremy’s and dipped his tongue inside as he tugged Jeremy’s towel and dropped it onto the marble tiles.
“Mmm,” Jeremy moaned and writhed against him, his cock hot and hard.
“Seriously. It was a perfect start to the UK leg of the tour.”
“Thank you.” Jeremy kissed his way across Reg’s jaw. “I know I tease, but what you think means a lot to me.”
“Is that right?” Reg traced Jeremy’s earlobe with two fingers and shoved his knee between Jeremy’s thighs.
“Yeah.” Jeremy ground his dick and balls against Reg’s leg, the feeling of it making Reg even harder than he had been in the shower with his finger deep in Jeremy’s ass.
“In that case….” Reg gazed into Jeremy’s gorgeous green eyes and slid their lips together again. “You might want to know that I think I’m in love with you.”
They were close enough for Reg to feel Jeremy’s heart start racing. “You think?” Jeremy said breathlessly as he dug his fingers into Reg’s shoulders.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. “I know,” Reg said. He drew in a deep breath. “I love you, JJ.” In a quick move, he circled his arms around Jeremy and tugged him off the floor into a hug. “Love you so much it scares me and amazes me all at the same time.” Leaning forward, Reg lapped at Jeremy’s lips. “But mostly, it makes me happy.” He smiled. “So happy.”
Jeremy didn’t respond, at least not verbally. But he returned Reg’s kisses, landed a few of his own, and clung to Reg—wrapped his arms and legs tightly around him.
“I’m taking you to bed,” Reg said huskily. He walked out of the room, Jeremy in his arms. “I want to make love to you tonight.” He skated his hand down Jeremy’s back, over the rounded cheeks of his ass, and into his crease. “I want to be inside so bad.” With his face buried in Jeremy’s neck, Reg laid him on the bed and draped himself over his smaller body. “Will you let me?”
“I’d let you do anything.” Jeremy kissed the base of his throat. “Everything.”
