His hands tighten on my hips and he gives me a big beautiful smile. “I was hoping you were going to say that.”

I kiss him again, but this time, our mouths stay connected. We kiss each other as our hands start exploring.

I pull him onto the bed and he leans over me with that huge body I love so much. He makes quick work of my clothes and before I can beg for it, he thrusts his big thick cock deep into me.

All of the sadness and worry is gone as he makes me his.

He’s coming home with me. We’re going to start a life together.

I’ll get to do this with this amazing mountain man every day of my life.

We both cling to each other as I cum all over him. His body reacts and I moan hard when I feel his hot cum filling me up.

It’s not over…

In fact, it’s just the beginning.

We’re going to have a long story, Dylan and me. And chapter two starts now.

Chapter Nine

Ashley

“Hold on,” I say as Dylan bends over to pick up my dresser. “I’ll get Richard or Justin to come and help you.”

Dylan gives me one of those devastatingly handsome grins that always makes me a little woozy and then easily lifts up my dresser as if it hardly weighs a thing. I know it’s heavy. The drawers are still in and each one is crammed tight!

“I got it, babe.”

He’s not even struggling. The huge beast walks over, kisses me on the lips, and then carries it down the hall.

Richard flattens against the wall as he walks by. I laugh when I see his face. He’s staring at my new man in awe.

“Um, where did you say you found this guy? In the mountains?!”

I told my best and oldest friend the story about half a dozen times and he always thought I was exaggerating. Until Dylan walked off the plane and Richard could see him in the flesh. I took a picture of his face. It’s my favorite picture I’ve ever taken of anyone ever. His jaw is almost on the floor and his eyes are so wide and buggy they look cartoonish. He couldn’t believe I got someone so hot. Him and Justin were both blushing the entire way home from the airport.

“That man belongs in a museum,” Justin says as he walks down the hallway, fanning his blushing cheeks with my mail. “He is a stunner, girl.”

I smile proudly as Richard nods away like a woodpecker.

My hulking mountain man tends to have that effect on people. He catches everyone’s eye. It’s not so bad in the mountains, but here in New Jersey, everyone looks. People stop cars. They film him. It’s like walking down the street with Jason Momoa. Or the Hulk.

“Last batch of mail,” Jason says as he hands me the pile. “Next time you’ll be picking up your mail it will be in Montana.”

“When can we come visit?” Richard asks, trying not to tear up. “I was thinking around Christmas?”

“But I want to see Montana in the summer,” Justin whines. “Cowboys are there in the summer.”

“They’re there in the winter too.”

“Yeah with winter hats and coats on. It’s not the same.”

“We’ll do both!” Richard says, clapping his hands together like it’s settled.

I’m glad they want to come. I’m going to miss them the most.

I cycle through the letters as I half-listen to them talking about cowboys. Flyer, flyer, electric bill. Shit! I forgot to cancel it. I gasp when I flip the envelope over and see a postcard.

I recognize it immediately. It was from our first date.

I so badly want to read it—I’ve been eager to read it since the moment Dylan started scribbling on the back. I run my fingertips over the little town that I can’t wait to get back to. The snow, the mountains, the restaurant where we had our first kiss. It already feels like home.

“What’s that?” Dylan asks in his deep voice as he returns to the kitchen.

All of my friends slash movers for the day are taking a break by the truck, so it’s just the two of us in the nearly empty apartment.

“It came,” I say as I show him the postcard.

He grins. “Read it.”

I can’t have him looking at me while I read it, so I turn around with my cheeks blushing and my hands trembling.

I take a deep breath and flip the card over. My shyness fades and a happy giddiness takes its place when I see his familiar handwriting. Even his writing is sexy with the long swooping letters and scratchy words.

“By now, we’ve spent a few days together,” I read as he listens behind me, “and I hope you’ve now realized that I’m the one for you. I knew you were the one for me the second I saw you. I knew it with every fiber of my being. I knew it in my heart and in my soul that I wanted you, and only you, now and forever. I want you to be my wife, Ashley. Will you marry me?”
