The music changes and my breath catches in my throat.
This is it. The moment I’ve been waiting for.
Brianna appears at the end of the aisle, her arm linked through her father’s and taking my fucking breath away. Her silk wedding gown wraps around her the same way I wish to be, showing off her intoxicating curves. But it’s the neckline that gets me. Her dark hair is up in some twisty bun thing, showing off her neck, making me jealous that all the men sitting among the guests can see what’s mine.
I hear Bobby suck in a breath as he takes in his twin sister looking like an absolute goddess. I want to turn to him to see his face, but I don’t dare take my eyes off her. I’d be a fool to miss even a second of this. I’m sure the videographer will get it, though even then, my eyes will still be on my girl.
The veil covers her face, but I can still make out her eyes through the sheer material, and the second her gaze falls on mine, her whole face lights up with undeniable happiness that blows me the fuck away.
She’s beautiful.
Nate notices his mommy at the end of the aisle and squeals in delight, making me jealous that I can’t do the same thing. Parker quickly joins in with his brother, and before I know it, so does Georgie, the three of them like a fucking wolf pack who always have each others’ backs
Brianna starts her march down the aisle, and I can’t tear my eyes off her, my future walking toward me step by fucking step. Damn. I just want her to run so I can catch her in my arms and never let her go.
Being back together has been everything I needed and more. Every touch, every look, every damn moment has made me so incredibly blessed to have her back in my life.
Bri finally makes it to the end of the aisle, and her father reluctantly hands her over. He still isn’t too thrilled about the whole breakup and knocking up his daughter thing. He loves the boys maybe more than he loves Brianna, but that doesn’t change the fact that I hurt his little girl. I don’t blame him. I still hate myself for putting her through that.
I take her hands in mine, but I can’t wait any longer to see her face, desperate to see the way her blazing green eyes light up with happiness. Stepping into her, I raise the veil over her head, and the second that gorgeous face comes into view, she fixes me with a beaming smile and my heart fucking explodes right here at the top of the aisle.
My hand slides up behind her neck and I pull her to me, my lips crashing down on hers as I kiss her with everything I’ve got, silently promising to live every day with her like it would be my last.
Laughter erupts among our guests, but I ignore them, insisting on taking my time and enjoying the beautiful woman in my arms. Besides, it’s our wedding, and we should be able to indulge in every last second of it.
Logan clears his throat beside me. “I think this is supposed to come after the vows,” he says, amusement in his tone as little Georgie is heard groaning in disgust at our display of affection.
Reluctantly, I pull away, but I don’t dare release the woman in my arms. Instead, I drop my forehead to hers, breathing her in. “You look fucking radiant,” I murmur for only her to hear.
Bri beams up at me, her eyes filled with undeniable love. “And you look like the rest of my life,” she tells me, raw honesty in her sweet tone.
Fucking hell. The way this woman just knows how to work me. Every word out of her mouth only has me falling in love with her more.
I press my lips back to hers, a new hunger blasting through me, and I kiss her until she laughs, forcing me to cut off our kiss. “Can we get married now?” she questions.
“Fuck, yeah.”
