And yet as Vars sat on a sofa, unsure whether he wanted to pursue sex or not, he couldn’t help glancing toward Jake, who was busy putting together an armchair someone had broken at night. Vars wasn’t exactly sure if a drill was necessary for the job, but watching Jake listen to orders was a pleasure in itself no matter the outcome for the furniture.
But it wasn’t just Jake’s attractive ass, now clad in denim clinging to his buttocks, that made Vars want to shift focus to something farther away from him. He liked sex and wasn’t bothered by much, but for all the sexual liberty he was a champion of, he still wasn’t sure if he wanted to watch Knight fuck his boyfriend on the couch just beyond the coffee table.
They were really going at it, with Elliot’s long limbs twisting and digging into the leather while Vars’s new VP shamelessly hovered his perfect behind in the air, languidly moving on top of Elliot and throwing back his long mane as if he were doing a photoshoot for a romance novel cover.
Both were attractive, so maybe it was the oversaturation with sexuality that Vars had a problem with? It had been several days, and he literally couldn’t walk the length of the building without stumbling upon someone having a quickie. Or better yet, an orgy. Did the Kings advertise those events somewhere? They had to. New people were in constant supply.
A pair of tattooed arms rested on the couch behind him, and Vars looked away from Jake to meet the gaze of his new prez.
“Not found anyone you’re into?” Beast asked and took a gulp of beer before walking around the sofa to sit next to him, as if his VP having sex so close Beast could have petted him from where he sat didn’t bother him at all.
Vars shrugged, unsure what was expected of him. He didn’t want to participate in orgies just because they happened, and he’d always preferred private sessions anyway. “I think I might share your boy’s feelings about all this.”
Beast rarely smiled, but bringing up Laurent always caused that uptick on his face. “I wouldn’t have pegged you as a shy man.”
Vars shrugged. “Not shy. It’s just not something I’m into. If I see a boy I like, I’ll take him somewhere private. Hope that’s not an issue.”
Beast shook his head, and the skin of his badly burnt face stretched into an even wider smile. “You don’t even need to be here if you don’t feel like it. It’s not a problem.” It was surreal to have this conversation while flesh slapped against flesh in the background, while people kissed and grabbed each other all around. Vars pretended not to see the spasming of Elliot’s body right in front of him. Beast smirked knowingly. “You need to be fine with it happening, but no need to participate. There’s lots of private rooms available. You won’t have to fight Jake over that.”
Vars licked his lips, stalling when he met Elliot’s gaze by accident. In the pink light, the boy seemed like the most content creature walking this earth. Knight’s arms were tight around him, and the eye contact was only broken when the mass of hair swept over Elliot’s face. The two lovers drifted off into a kiss as if the world around them had ceased to exist.
Vars would gladly fuck someone.
Someone kneeling by the broken armchair.
“Yeah, I think we’re getting along better now. It was a good idea to force us to interact. As much as I still hate it.”
Beast nodded and had more beer. “It won’t be too long. I don’t know if you’ve heard, but I’m getting married, so it’s all very chaotic right now. Laurent is… particular.”
Vars shrugged, trying very hard not to laugh. A gay wedding at a biker clubhouse. What was the world coming to? It was hardly something he’d expected to ever see happening when he’d sucked his first dick some twenty-five years ago. “My condolences. That’s why I’m never getting married.”
“I wasn’t planning to either. It’s such a hassle. But Laurent’s very traditional,” Beast groaned. “Once Magpie leaves today, we’ll have a meeting, and I’ll tell you all about why he might seem strange at times.”
Vars frowned, at the heavily tattooed face of his prez. The guy didn’t look like someone who could be reasoned with in any way, much less someone you wanted to meet after dark, but each conversation they’d had so far convinced Vars of how reasonable and normal Beast was. Definitely a man Vars didn’t mind serving under.
“I thought he’s French.”
Beast frowned at the heavy signets sprinkled over his knuckles. “He’s much more than that.”
Vars discreetly followed Elliot’s naked form with his gaze once the heap of limbs he’d made with Knight untangled. He walked across the room and all the way to the fridge to get some beers. Vars wouldn’t be paying him any attention if it wasn’t for the way Jake stopped working and glared at Elliot.
