She threw her head back and laughed.
Our sons banged on the door.
“Dad!” Harker yelled. “Lonan needs to pee!”
“Fuck,” Dory whispered dejectedly.
“Tell him to go in the plant!” I yelled.
“Really?” Harker asked skeptically.
“Yeah!” I called as I slowly moved inside my wife. “Really!”
“We’re horrible parents,” she whispered into my ear long moments later after our sons disappeared from the door.
“We’re humans.” I shrugged. “And they’re such cock blockers. I’ll put the plant in the hallway after we’re done.”
I did better than that.
An hour later, I switched it with Price’s plant in his room.
He didn’t even notice.
But the next morning when we were sitting at the breakfast table with Mickey Mouse dancing around us, he said, “Does anyone have a plant in their room that smells like pee? Or is it just us?”
Dory buried her face into my neck and giggled so hard she cried.
And I felt so fuckin’ happy that I couldn’t hide the joy from my face.
