“I have to change,” Mayve says, pulling away now and returning to the changing room.

“Mayve.” She turns when I call her name, and I notice her nipples are hard as fuck under the dress. “Do you have a bra on?” She looks down at her chest, and her hands fly up and cover her breasts. She doesn’t answer me as she hurries off.

I walk out to the front to check out the pictures.

We look…

Lost in each other.

I take one and slide it into my pocket while waiting for Mayve. It doesn’t take long until she joins me, dressed in the same outfit she was in before, but now with a ring on her finger.

I am also wearing a ring—a plain black band that the jeweler gave me. How long I will wear it for? Well, I haven’t figured that one out yet.

The car is waiting for us outside. On the way back to our hotel, I watch her as she stares down at her ring.

“I won’t sleep with you,” she states.

“The floor sure will be uncomfortable,” I tell her.

“No, I mean…” She shakes her head. “You know what I mean.”

“No, I don’t. Say the words.”

“I won’t have sex with you.”

“All you will be good for is kissing. I like the way you taste. But when it comes to fucking, well…” I smirk.

“What?” she asks, clearly confused.

“I like my women with a little more…” I pause and look at her, “Blood on them.”

Wise eyes greet me. “Oh my God. Do you fuck dead people?”

The driver coughs at her words.

“No,” I tell her as we arrive.

“What then? I don’t get it.”

I grab her bag and slide out. She follows close behind me, through the lobby, and all the way to the room. I place her things down and start undoing my shirt.

“You like to cut?” she asks, watching me.

I kick my shoes off, and she eyes my chest. I undo my pants and drop them to the floor. That’s when she sees them—the angry red scars. “Do you like to do the cutting, or do you have someone else do that for you?”

My cock starts to harden, and she notices. I’m standing in front of her completely naked now, the lights on and exposing my scars, and she still looks me in the eyes as she waits for an answer.

“Do you cut women?” she asks.

“Yes,” I answer.

She takes a step back, and I know what she’s thinking by the look on her face. She doesn’t even need to say the words out loud.

She’s disgusted.

Mayve

As he turns and heads for the bathroom to shower, I glance down at my ring. I hear the water turn on, but he doesn’t bother shutting the door. I sit on the edge of the bed, my eyes still glued to the black diamond on my finger. What was he thinking getting me something like this? Surely, it must be fake. I mean, the ring is massive. If this were real, it would cost a pretty penny, I think, as I sit there and wait, unsure of what else to do.

The alcohol in my system has mostly dried up, leaving only a slight buzz, and I just saw a very naked Kenzo. Who, might I add, doesn’t seem to have an issue at all with nudity.

But I get why. With a body like that, why would you care?

A moment after the shower turns off, he steps out of the bathroom, towel wrapped around his waist, and goes to the other side of the bed. He removes the towel, climbs onto the mattress, and pulls the sheet up over his hips.

All I can do is stare at him.

I’ve had sex before, but I’ve never spent the entire night in the same bed with a man.

This is all new to me. When I’ve had sex in the past, the guy would leave not long after, and I never went to his place. The arrangement worked until he would stop calling altogether. I never pushed or bothered to ask why.

We both knew the deal.

It was just sex.

It isn’t long before I hear a light snore, and when I look back over my shoulder, I see Kenzo lying on his side, asleep.

I could never fall asleep that quickly. Standing from the bed, I reach for my things and carry them into the bathroom, shutting the door behind me. I find my pajamas and underwear, then jump into the shower, washing myself and brushing my teeth before I get out and dress.

When I open the door, it’s dead silent. Turning the light off so I don’t disturb him, I walk into the room and feel my way to the bed. The curtains are the blackout kind, so there is hardly any light in this room apart from the clock. I put my things down, then walk to the side of the bed I know he isn’t on and climb in. It’s a king bed, so there’s plenty of room between us. Grabbing one of the two pillows behind my head, I put it between us—just as a precaution—and lay my head on the other one.
