I snap out of it and peel my sweater off myself, tossing it with his clothes before I add my bra and panties to the pile of discarded clothing. “You won’t finish the hot water in two minutes.”

“No, but first, I have to eat you.” He pulls me into him, the warm water falling around us. “Then you have to suck my cock.” He bends to take a nipple into his mouth. “And then I have to fuck you against the wall.” I close my eyes, and he’s not wrong. By the time we get out of the shower, it feels like I’m taking the polar plunge.

“It’s a surprise,” he says, sliding his feet inside his white sneakers.

“The last time you told me this, you took me on a sex tour.” I grab my boots.

He snags one of his black jackets and slips it over his white T-shirt. “Don’t even fucking lie.” He points at me. “You loved that tour.” I smile at him because I really did love that tour. “Now get your sexy ass into my car.” He smacks my ass, walking into the garage.

I grab my vest and slide it onto my gray sweater before putting on my boots and walking into the garage to meet him. He stands with his phone in his hands, typing something while he waits for me by the passenger door. “The car today?”

“Umm, we might have to take the truck,” he replies, reading something from his phone.

“Do you even know where we’re going?” I ask him as he shuts the car door and walks over to the truck. I watch his ass as he walks away from me, and it’s crazy how sexy he is, and he doesn’t even have to try. Literally wearing baggy jeans with a T-shirt and to me he’s the hottest man I’ve ever met.

“I know where we’re going. It’s sort of off the beaten path.”

“Great,” I say, getting into the truck, “the woods where you can kill me and no one will know.” I shake my head. “I’ll have you know my parents had me chipped when I was younger.”

I expect him to be shocked, but he just laughs. “Me too.” He lifts his arm. “I think it’s right in there or in the neck, we aren’t sure yet.” I can’t help but laugh at him as he leans in and kisses my lips before shutting the door and walking around the truck to his side.

He puts the address in the GPS before he pulls out of the driveway, and I can see his house in the light now. It’s white bricks with black doors and windows, the inside is even more gorgeous. It’s a big house for just one person, but it feels so homey it’s crazy. I look out the window at the houses around him as we drive out of his gated community and get farther and farther away from civilization. “I wasn’t kidding when I said I was chipped,” I state as we pass by the trees, seeing into the forest.

We pull off the main highway onto a gravel road. I look around as he rubs his thumb over mine. My hand was pulled into his as soon as he got into the truck. “You have reached your destination,” the GPS says.

I look around to see a white van with a man standing beside it. The van looks like it’s seen better days. “If this is sex trafficking, you literally are going to get maybe a goat for me.”

Stone laughs as he shuts off the truck and then opens his door. “Let’s go, gorgeous.” I raise my hand to open the door and step out. I look at Stone, who walks over to the man and shakes his hand. The two of them talk as he points over at me.

“This is it,” I say, taking a big inhale. “Whatever he said to you, my family will pay you double,” I joke with the man who just laughs. “I’m Ryleigh.”

“Brett.” He shakes my hand. “Let’s go.” He turns on his boot and heads to the front of his van and it’s then I see the big round orange flag, I think it is, in the middle of the vast field.

“What is this?” I ask Stone as I walk beside him.

“This is the surprise.” He puts his arm around my shoulder, pulling me to him. The nerves fill my stomach as we get closer and then stop when Brett starts something and fire comes out of it.

“What the fuck?” I yelp, feeling the heat from the flames. I put my hand in front of my face, but as the heat blows again, I see the flag start to lift off the ground, taking a basket with it. “Oh my God,” I gasp, “is that a hot air balloon?” The orange balloon fills with air as Brett opens the wicker basket. “I can’t.” I don’t know what to say as Stone walks me over, and I step inside it. Stone steps in behind me, putting his hand on my hip.
