“It’s been sold again? To who?” she asked, turning to Raid.
“To me.”
She gaped at him, her mouth dropping open. “You?”
“Yep.”
“You bought Grandma’s house?”
“I bought our house, baby. For us to live in.”
No, he didn’t.
Then he dropped to one knee and pulled a ring box from his jeans pocket.
“What . . . what . . .” She couldn’t make her mouth work properly.
“I love you, Hannah Megan McLeod. And I want to spend the rest of my life taking care of you, spanking you, giving you back massages, and bossing you around. And I want to raise our family in this house. The house that was made for us. Marry. Me.”
It wasn’t exactly a question. But she didn’t need it to be. Instead, she said the only thing she could.

He quickly slid the ring onto her finger and then, standing, he swept her into his arms and twirled her until she laughed.
