“Let me make it up to you,” he says. Uh oh. I know that look in his eye.
“My parents are watching,” I say as I glance at the beach. “So, are the kids.”
“That’s what surfboards were invented for.” He lifts it up like a wall, blocking our view of the beach as he comes toward me with his heated green eyes.
“I guess you do know how to use a surfboard after all,” I say as his lips hover over mine.
He kisses me with too much passion for a couple that’s been together as long as we have and I moan into his mouth, so thankful for all of this.
