Then out of nowhere, the embrace grew painful as Dev jerked backward with force. Cash dropped down on the seat as Dev wiggled violently on top of him.

“Jesus fuckin’ Christ,” Dev bellowed, jackknifing in the tight space, grabbing fiercely at his leg, the knee coming way too close to Cash’s cock in the process.

“Dev, stop. You’re hurting me.” He used his arms as a shield, trying to protect his privates from Dev’s wayward moves.

“It fuckin’ hurts,” Dev screeched, bucking and thrashing in the confined space. “Cramp! Goddamn cramp.”

Cash did the only thing he could think to do to stop the assault on his body and save his balls. He reached for the handle, pushing the door open to get them more room, then tossed Dev off him. He registered the thump his biker made as he hit the wet ground.

“Get up. Apply pressure with your heel flat to the ground and breathe.”

“Fuck you, you goddamn masochist,” Dev yelled. Cash cast a glance at Dev, proud he hadn’t rolled his eyes at the outburst. It took everything he had not to laugh at his guy’s pain. Dev’s jeans were lowered down his thighs, inhibiting his ability to move as he reached for his calf, and punched rabidly at the muscle there. “It hurts!”

Oh hell, the biker was so dramatic all the time. Cash shook his head, chasing away any lingering hold his orgasm may have had, and rose. As he stood, he hooked an arm around Dev’s waist, drawing them both to their feet. “Stand on your foot, Devilman. You have to stretch the muscle.”

“Fuck you,” Dev shouted, panting with the pain. But he did stand, pitching forward under the severe ache.

“Again,” Cash instructed, his arm shaking from the strain of holding most of Dev’s body weight.

“Fuck you, that doesn’t help.” Dev’s angry glare flipped his way. But contrary to his words, Dev did try again. He felt the moment of relief ripple through Dev as he finally stood on both feet.

Cash tentatively released his hold as Dev managed a step forward, holding on to the car as he went. Finally, he walked out the charley horse.

They’d made a big mess. Come was everywhere. Cash’s shirttails were stuck to his belly with come decorating Dev’s back and still naked ass. He looked down at the ground to see Dev’s cell phone at his feet. Of course the screen was facing upright, recording everything. His sated cock hung between his thighs. Which meant Joe had quite possibly caught everything since the car door opened.

Hopefully his second in command had learned this lesson and averted his gaze.

The chaos of his life was still walking off the cramp.

He released a heavy sigh and removed his dress shirt to clean himself up. He had a standard white T-shirt underneath and a jacket in the back seat to wear if need be.

“Sorry, Joe,” he called to the phone and sat his ass in the car seat, swiping at his midsection with his shirt.

Chapter 16

With the fence gate in hand, Cash stood at the exit of the apartment’s property, in a spot of dirt between where the pavement of the alley ended and the driveway hadn’t yet begun. He watched the two bikers head out in a slightly staggered formation as if they had ridden in just that same way for years.

Dev, of course, refused a helmet. An enamored Trace, who’d followed Dev around as an adoring little brother, had finally balked at some of his idol’s ideology. Trace insisted Dev wear a dome, explaining in detail all the reasons why going without one was a very bad idea. When Dev laughed right in Trace’s face, the bodyguard laughed back, showing his strength and put his helmet on as they stared at one another.

Of course Dev was unfazed by the ridicule or challenge as he mounted his bike, leaving for their first day together at the ink parlor. Trace’s excitement couldn’t be contained. Before ever leaving the house that morning, Trace offered to be Dev’s bodyguard every day for the rest of his life.

Cash easily admitted, he had a bad case of the green-eyed monster. It elevated a notch, pulling in other emotions like distrust and control at the idea of such a handsome young man following Dev around like a puppy.

Trace was there at Dev’s disposal.

A frown edged down the corners of his mouth. His crazy, imaginative thoughts ran rampant at the possibility of how willing Trace presented himself.

More than that, it was almost too much to watch Dev leave the house without him. They’d spent twenty-four/seven together for weeks now. Though the pressure had gotten to Cash to keep Dev safe, it was nothing compared to how much he already missed his biker. He could still see the red of the brake lights in the distance.
