Even better, Star Crossed Buns is right across the pier from Tidal Wave Surf, the surf and swim shop we opened three years ago. The plan originally was to open the bun shop right after, but, then we got a different kind of bun in a different kind of oven…
Bella is adorable and keeps us plenty busy. But she’s almost three now, and a little more manageable. So now was a perfect time to open Star Crossed. Plus, I think Taylor and I both know that kid number two is bound to happen any day, now that she’s gone off birth control again.
I mean, it really is a matter of time. I make it a point of filling her sweet little pussy up with my cum every damn day. Usually more than once. More than thrice if Taylor has her way.
Beyond that, life is pretty fucking great. Matt Conway, obviously, went to jail, for a very long time. I spent many a night after all that went down looking over my shoulder and staying up to keep guard over Taylor. I mean, Johnny might have been a small-time douchebag, but you never know who’s got connections where.
But, at a certain point, it became clear the matter was settled. I mean, Johnny went to jail along with Matt, also for a long ass time. And Bear and I took care of all his guys. So, problem solved.
Bear healed up just fine, too. In fact, he had a little help in that department, too. But that ain’t for me to blather on about. In any case, Bella loves her Uncle Bear and her Uncle Gerard, and any time I get even the slightest concern that there might be someone out there with a bone to pick with me or my family, I remember that my little girl has those two watching out for her too.
We still live on the beach, though slowly, I’ve been turning my little beach shack into a house fit for a family. Those surfboards are still outside though, and you can be damn sure they’re not going anywhere. Especially if Bella has anything to say about it. That girl might actually be part mermaid.
My arm slides around my wife’s waist, and I turn to kiss the top of her head as she looks up at the new sign.
“You did it,” I growl quietly.
“We did it,” she grins back. She turns and kissing me softly. “I love you,” she whispers into my lips.
“I love you too.”
Behind us, we hear a shrieking giggle, and turn to see Gerard bounding over from the beach with Bella on his shoulders. I spot Bear’s truck pulling up a little ways off, and he steps out with… well, again, ain’t my story to tell.
For now, it’s time for friends, family, and love. And of course, some cinnamon buns.
